Open Up!

(Y/N) Pov

I could hear relentless pounding on the door. Just exactly what did this guy want?! Aren't wolves and vampires suppose to be bitter enemies?! Why is he still pestering me?

I sighed heavily, placing my hands on my flattened ears. That's when I heard the door fly open, it having been kicked in by none other than the red-head himself.

"Oi, stupid girl, I know you heard me knocking on the door!" He growled, anger written all over his face. I didn't bother looking back at him. I just wanted some alone time..

"Of course I heard you.. Anybody would hear your dumb ass. You should have just given up on the first knock." I replied, staring back at him with icy eyes.

Ayato stared at me, his eyes glazing over. That's when he slowly started to approach me, his emerald green eyes never wavering.

I could feel sweat starting to develop on my head. Why was I so nervous all of a sudden? Get a grip, (Y/N)!

Ayato would stop in front of my, my tail beginning to sway anxiously behind me. What did he want?

"Who the hell do you think you are?" He smooth voice came out. He had a sly grin plastered on his face as he stood there.

"After all, you couldn't be worth that much if you basically came to us for help, am I right, (Y/N)?"

My face darkened now. I felt a slight pang of pain build up in my chest as I stood there. Why was I feeling that pain all of a sudden.

"I never asked for your fucking help." I said in a hushed voice. And with that, I brushed past him and left the room to go to who knows where.

Ayato POV

I watched her leave, guilt seeping into my heart. I could be such an ass sometimes but, why should I care? She's nothing but a stupid mutt who needs to learn her place.

I sighed angrily, running my hand through my hair in a frustrated way. Why am I feeling this way. Why.... Why did I have to be so cruel to her...

NO! I must not think of anything other than being cruel and ruthless to that wolf girl. After all, wolves and vampires were destined to be enemies. And it should stay that way.

I would turn my head and stare at the door. I watched her leave and yet I didn't do anything about it.

Was I right to do what I did?....
