"Tita, gising na si Azalea! Tatawag ako ng nurse!"

"Holy fu--"

"Watch your words, Vaughn! Azalea, anak!" ani sabay yakap sa akin. Nagulat ako sa kanyang ginawa.

"Mama?" nanginginig kong utas. "Nasaan ako? Nasa hospital ba ako? Bakit ako nandito, Ma?"

"Calm down, anak. Yes this is a hospital. Don't you remember the 'cause why you're here, hmm?"

"I can't ma."

"You were bumped by a truck, Az. Tumilapon ang sinasakyan mo. Alam mo ba kung ilang days ka na natutulog, anak?" naluluhang wika ni Mama.

"Hindi ma."

"Almost one year, anak."

What? One damn year?

"Tita, nandito na ang nurse. Oh my goodness, Az! You are really awake!"

"Winter? Is that you?"

"Yup, of course!"

Holy damn. My bestfriend. Shit, really? J'm asleep for a year?

"Hi, Az."

"Kuyaa!" oh my g! I missed this guy!

"Hi princess." ani niya sabay yakap sa akin.

"Sir, I'll just check her vital signs po."

"Oh! Okay then."

"Ayos naman po ang lagay niya. Medyo hinay-hinay lang po muna tayo sa pagbibigay ng informations sa kanya. Her brain might be shock for some things she missed and it may cause her to fall asleep again."

"Yes, Nurse. Thank you very much."

Lumabas na ang nurse. Why the heck might my brain be shock?

"Guys, you're kidding me right? I can't sleep for a whole damn year!"

"Aza--" ani Mama. Oops, I can't help but to curse.

"Hahahaha! Mom, let her and me curse, where adults." humahalakhak na ani ni Kuya. Oo nga naman!

"16 and 19 are not that old, Vaughn Asher!" tumikhom si mama. "As I've said, you're asleep for a year, Az."

"Mom, kuhaan ko lang ng pagkain si Az. She's maybe hungry." ani ni kuya sabay labas ng kwarto.

"Ma, can I chika with Winter?"

"Okay. I miss you, Az." sabi ni Mama sabay halik sa aking noo. I mouthed 'I missed you too' and smiled. I still can't believe I'm awake.

"Vaaan! Oh my g! I missed you so damn much." sabi ni Winter sa papahinang boses. "I want to tell you chikas but you're brain might be shock. So effin' sad."

"Let me just rest for a day, and throw me that chikas up!"

"Hahaha! Of course, I'll let you rest. Buti nalang talaga at dumalaw ako, naabutan ko ang pag-gising mo!"

"Ikaw lang ata ang hinihintay ko hahaha." natawa rin siya. "By the way, anong year ka na Win?"

"Oh, third year."

"And me?"

"Uhm, second year?"

What? "Damn."

"Shh! Tita might hear you cursing your ass out."

"What if I go back to schooling? I don't have a friend with me then?!"

"Calm your tits, Az. My brother is also 2nd year this coming year. You can be friends."

"You're so gorg--"

"Stay --"

"Ah sh1t!" sigaw ko sabay hawak sa ulo ko. My head hurts like damn!

"Az!"

"Why, Az? Hey anak, answer me."

"I heard words from a random guy. I can't understand--"

"Shh shh. Kakain ka then you'll rest okay? Calm, anak."

"Y-Yes, Ma."

What the hell was that? Incomplete words. Incomplete sentence. The only thing I heard clearly was 'Bye', the heck?

"Vaughn is here. Eat na anak. Then sleep."

I followed my mama. I eat and sleep. But, damn! The voice is still bothering me.
