I'm gonna miss this weather, the beating sun on my glowing skin. Instead I'll have ran and wind in my face over in England... oh hi, I'm Elle, I've started to keep a journal of my life because I'm pretty sure it's about to get very fascinating over this summer and I need to make these memories while I can before the hard part comes.
Going over to England for the summer is going to be so weird, haven't seen my mom for 10 years, but she's pretty sick at the moment and she has no one else, so I'm taking one for the team. Me and my little brother are leaving tomorrow but I don't know why he could just stay here in LA! Oh did I mention my mom has 2 months to live, she has stage 4 cancer and nothing they can do; I think she needs me right now, I hope?...
Maybe I can make my life better in the uk, a fresh start, no one knows who I am or what I'm like. A completely fresh start. Perfect.
All I can say is that it is gonna be one long summer of my life....
oh also forgot to mention I'm 18, single (of course) and my best friend is Called Caitlin, she's the popular one, has boys falling at her feet; definitely gonna miss her over the summer, what am I gonna do without her !!! She's more of a sister than a friend, her family took me in when my dad ran away when I was younger and my mom fled to the uk with no reason why! Caitlin's family is my family kinda, but I don't like to intrude !
