When Jungkook looks up from his computer, he notes- with distaste- that it's 3:52am. Shit. His nose wrinkles with the realization; he's been so absorbed in sifting through this footage and editing his newest video that he hadn't even realized how long he'd been sitting in his studio.

His back cracks when he sits up and stretches, limbs heavy and tired from sitting for so long. He stands up to stretch properly, ready to crawl into bed and collapse for however long he can manage. Maybe if he's lucky, Yoongi's already in bed and he'll be able to snuggle up with him. He never refuses cuddles, especially not when he's sleepy and comfortable.

As he leaves his studio and heads back towards his room, though, Jungkook can't help but notice that the light's still in on Yoongi's studio. He frowns at the thought of Yoongi still working- probably hunched over his keyboard, headphones on, completely oblivious to the time. Jungkook hasn't seen him since very early the previous day when they'd (reluctantly) crawled out of bed to go to work.

Jungkook punches in the code to Yoongi's studio and steps in to find Yoongi exactly where he knew he'd be. Right at his desk, eyes glued to the screen in front of him, big headphones over his head.

He looks so tired and tense, lines of his shoulders drawn tight; Jungkook wants to drag him straight to bed, but he's learned from past experiences. Carefully, he pushes the door open wider, stepping into Yoongi's peripherals so that he notices him before he accidentally spooks him. It takes a few moments, Yoongi's eyes flitting across his computer screen, until he notices Jungkook out the corner of his eye.

He pulls down his headphones and spins his chair around, squinting at Jungkook. "Kook? What are you doing here?"

Jungkook smiles down at him. Yoongi's wearing one of Jungkook's hoodies and it's a little big on him. Rather than answer, Jungkook reaches out and tugs Yoongi's chair closer to the couch in his studio so that Jungkook can sit down and pull him in for a kiss.

Yoongi tastes too much like bitter coffee and burnt ramen. Jungkook wrinkles his nose a little, which earns him a half-hearted laugh from Yoongi.

"How long have you been here, hyung?" He asks, choosing to loop his arms around Yoongi's shoulders and kiss the tip of his nose this time. It's one of Jungkook's favourite places to kiss, to be honest; mostly, he loves the way that it never fails to make Yoongi smile. It works today, too, although the smile is small and tired-looking. Jungkook chews on his lower lip, holding back a frown.

"Too long." Yoongi's eyes flutter when Jungkook leans in to press teeny little kisses to his eyelids. "Got here after breakfast, I think. I can't seem to get this track mixed... Something's missing and I can't figure out what it is. Joon and Hobi were here for a while, too."

Jungkook hums to show that he's listening. He doesn't really have any advice for Yoongi- Yoongi, Namjoon and Hoseok are the ones he goes to when he needs advice with music, not the other way around- but he's more than happy to listen, more than happy to support him. "Have you been working on it ever since?"

Yoongi half-shrugs. "Yeah. On and off. Wrote down some other lyrics, too, but even that- it's not going well. Nothing's coming out right." He sighs. Jungkook slides his hands across Yoongi's shoulders, his muscles tense with stress.

"You're not getting anywhere with this tonight, hyung," Jungkook says, and maybe to someone else it might sound harsh, but he knows that it's what Yoongi needs to hear. He doesn't like to be coddled- a little tough love, Jungkook has learned, can help keep him from pushing himself too hard. "Come to bed." Jungkook leans in and presses a soft kiss to Yoongi's jaw, blazing a trail upwards. He can feel Yoongi shiver when he kisses that sweet spot just below his earlobe.
