Motion can be classified into : 1. Uniform Motion 2. Non - Uniform Motion 3. Circular Motion
Uniform Motion : When body travels equal distance in equal interval of time the body is said to be in Uniform Motion. Example : The ant move 5 m in 100 s and next 5 m in 100 s and so on.
Non - Uniform Motion : When body travels equal distance in unequal interval of time or unequal distance in equal interval of time then body is said to be in Non - Uniform Motion. Example : The car moving in traffic accelerates and decelerates and hence is in non unoform motion.
Circular Motion : The motion where the body moves in a circular track and the acceleration is perpendicular to velocity pointing towards center is called Circular Motion. The force is required to keep on moving the object rotating in a circular track towards center and such foce is known a Centripetal Force. Example : Marry go round
