Meeting Again

The city was cold and Stephen had finally gathered the last part of metal needed for Tony, bearing in mind it had taken a lot to get it. Stephen had actually had to bargain with someone for it, not an experience he wanted to go through again, as he rounded the corner Dr Strange looked around him judging if anyone was near, it was barren and so within a few seconds he opened a portal and stepped through, the sparks fizzing behind him....

It was the avengers tower, most of the actual members were away on their own accord, but Bruce banner had been round recently to help Tony with the project, Strange had been gone for a few months leaving Stark in his own company. It felt glad to be back, as strange lightly stepped down a set of stairs he entered the lab to find Tony slumped on a chair, asleep. For a brief moment Stephen debated wether to let him sleep or not but his excitement to finish the new awareness system was overwhelming. "Tony, I'm back" he said with an air of softness, Slowly Tony opened one eye and then the other, taking a second to focus before jumping up out of his seat "did you get it!?" He asked eagerly, out from his cloak Strange handed the metal over, their hands briefly touching. Tony's happiness made Stephen smile, a small grin briefly flashing on his face. little did he realise his cloak had begun to reach forward towards Tony, in a split second decision Strange grabbed his cloak back, confused as to why his cloak had even done so...

Tony had bustled past and had already begun getting back to work, fixing the pieces together one by one as Strange handed him the materials when Stark asked for them. Taking a glance around Strange decided to ask "Is Bruce still here?"
"No, he left a few days ago to focus on remaining calm or something like that" Tony said with a small smile at Stephen. It was only then that Stephen realised how Tony's eyes glistened and how his hair fell loosely with a wild frizz from the days he had spent working, it almost seemed to make strange lean forward, getting closer to Tony only inches away before... "Done!" Tony yelled picking up the obscure looking object and moving it to another desktop. Stephen felt disappointed but he didn't really understand why...
