Virgil couldn't help but to watch Roman as he scribbled down ideas on a sheet of paper. He had a spark in his eyes that showed just how passionate he was about his specific skill-set. Virgil wondered momentarily what it would be like to portray such a positive part of Thomas, but he quickly pushed the thought away.
"Roman." Roman had almost forgotten that Virgil was there with how caught up in his work he was. He jumped slightly when Virgil spoke, but then he glanced up and smiled at the anxious side.
"Yes, Virgil?" He asked. Virgil's face was slightly red and his eyes fell to the floor.
"I think..." Virgil paused, pulling his sleeves down over his hands. "I think you're really neat." Roman barely heard Virgil, but he caught just enough of it to understand. His face heated up and for a moment, it looked like he was going to flee, but instead a silence followed, a silence so thick with awkwardness that you could cut it with a knife. "I-I'm sorry, Princey. D-did I make you uncomfortable?" Virgil asked, his hand covering his mouth in pure embarrassment. "I-I just...I-I don't know why I said that. You looked so comfortable and relaxed a-and..."
"I think you're neat too, Virgil." Roman's face was still red, but his words comforted Virgil and allowed him to move his hands away from his face.
"You do?" Virgil s words were soft as he stared hopefully at Roman. Roman spun his chair around to face Virgil and smiled sheepishly.
"Yeah, I do." The room filled with silence again, but this time it was a comfortable one, one that could lull you to sleep. Roman and Virgil both darted their eyes around the room, trying not to let them meet, and the second they did, the air shifted completely.
"Let me get this straight, you were flirting with me, right?" Roman questioned, scooting the chair slightly closer to Virgil. Virgil let out a soft laugh and he moved his chair closer to Roman's, their knees brushing accidentally.
"Y-Yeah." Roman put his hand on his heart and let out a sigh of relief.
"Thank God, because I have a huge crush on you." Roman admitted. Virgil perked his eyebrow and smirked at Roman, his eyes trailing down to Roman's lips.
"Can I-"
"ANXIETY! CREATIVITY!"
The setting around them changed and suddenly, they were in their respective spots in Thomas' living room. They both had blushes painted on their cheeks and their eyes connected for a moment before they both turned away.
"Woah, what was that?" Thomas asked, his voice playful. Virgil glanced up at him through his bangs and shrugged.
"Nothing!" Roman sang, glancing around at the other sides, pleading for a distraction. Quickly, Patton caught his signal and dismissed the topic. It wasn't until after they finished talking with Thomas and went back to their rooms that Virgil got a chance to see Roman again. Virgil popped up in Roman's room and before either of them could speak, he pressed his lips onto Roman's, who accepted the kiss and wrapped his arms around Virgil.
"Um- I-" Roman stuttered once Virgil pulled away. Roman's cheeks were flushed and Virgil smiled and turned, walking away.
"Later, Princey."
