Chapter 4

3 weeks after Ania is at camp

Percy's POV

Not much has happened at camp. Like Ania said, she didnt try to make an effort in making friends or people liking her. When she first got here the campers thought she was a Hades child. She stayed in the sidelines and didnt talk much. The first time someone talked to her was when an Apollo Camper made an attempt at talking to her. Keyword: attept. He started talking to her out of nowhere. I wasnt suprised much because alot of the boys thought she was hot and almost started drooling over her. Even I thought she was pretty hot but who wouldnt. She had a perfect tan, smooth black hair with vibrant colors weaved through, and eyes that can make anyone fall in a trance. They were mostly sea green but had other colors that made it look beautiful. The Aphrodite girls were so jealous that whenever she passed by they gave her a dirty look that if looks could kill she would be dead 10 times over.

When the Apollo camper talked to her(his name was Mark) he started it real suttle. He started of saying, your hot. She stared at him and roundhouse kicked him in the head. He was 6 feet so I was pretty impressed she could kick that high. She was about 5' 9" so I guess it wasnt much of a difference but still. But the boy asked her out and she looked pretty impressed that someone actually asked her that so she said yeah. They've been dating since and since im her full blood brother I gave him the " take-care-of-her-or-i-will-kill-you" talk and has been a pretty good boyfriend but since last week Ania had a pained expression and her usual vibrant eyes were now dull and sad.

Right now we were sitting in our cabin(me and Ania) talking about each other. "Whats your favorite colors?" I asked.

"sea green, aqua blue, sunset orange, and midnight black. Yours?"

"My favorite is blue."

"Im not suprised. Every thing in this dam side of the cabin is blue."

"Hey at least it looks friendly. Your side looks like Nico's cabin" And I was serious. She had her side with black walls, and she painted the metal bars of the bunk black. The only color was the sea green covers on her bed. She had a whole bunch of books on her shelf.

"How old are you, Percy?" she asked softly.

"17, you?"

"14." she said blankly. I thought she was 16. She acted like it.

"Can I ask you a question?" I was curious on why she was so sad and distant, well even more distant.

"You just did."

"Ok 2 questions?"

"Yeah."

"Why are you so sad and even more distant?" Her eyes grew wide and she messed with the sleeves of her long sleeved, gray shirt.

"I dont know what you mean." she answered back with a shaky breathe.

"Dont give me that-" I was cut off by a ringing. Ania reached towards a compartment she installed into her bunk. She pulled a phone. She made everyone, with Leo's help, a phone that does not attract monsters. I swear she can make anything.

She checked her phone and saw a text. Her eyes grew wide and she entered the bathroom. A few seconds later I heard cheering and screaming outside. I told Ania I was gonna check what it was. I pushed through the crowd and saw a blond and a brunnete kissing. The boy and girl pulled away and saw something I didnt want to see. It was Mark and Annabeth kissing.

"HOW COULD YOU DO THIS ANNABETH!?!? AND MARK I TOLD YOU NOT TO DO ANYTHING STUPID THAT WILL HURT MY SISTER!!" I spat in their faces and before they could get a word out I ran towards my cabin. I started packing my bag. I threw in nectar, ambrosia,  clothes, the minoutaur horn, and a picture of my friends. I crossed out Annabeth. I went to go check on Ania after putting Riptide in my pocket.

"Ania, Ania come on were leaving." I said softly while knocking softly on the door. I was starting to get worried so I might of broke down the door. Hey, im already mad so yeah...anyways I saw Ania with a piece of glass pressed against her wrist. I could she the previous cuts and the tears streaming down her face. I acted fast and pulled her up, shaking the glass out of her hand. She just acted limply and didnt react. I stood infront of her, shaking her lightly, the furiously.

"Let me just die." she mumbled inaudible but I still heard it.

"Whats wrong?" I said quietly while picking her up like a toddler and set her in my lap, while sitting on my bunk.

"Its all Annab!*$#'s fault. She used to bully me in school and then since I got here she swnt me mean text and stuff. But tonight she said that I should just kill myself and that no one will care. So I did." she gives me a wattery smile at the end and just shrugs. She gets up and starts packing. 

"Lets leave Camp Half Hell" she said like her normal self and we set of to get a better future....hopefully.
