When we got to the party, the music was really loud and could be heard from a mile away. Cars were parked up and down both sides of the street. I could already guaranty that the police would be called more than once tonight. After Sage found and placed the car into an empty space on the street; we got out. I left my jacket in the car, not wanting to keep up with it all night, and we headed up the driveway. Teens along with red solo cups littered the lawn. If I thought the outside was bad, the inside was hellacious. As we continue to walk through the house, slowly my friends disappear going off to do their own thing. Sage was the last to leave me alone.  After we found the kitchen and I have a shot of something along with starting my first beer. Sage did not like that I was drinking in the first place. She left saying," I'm not going to sit here and watch you drink away your problems. I'm going to go see if the other two are okay. Try to stay out of trouble while I'm gone." " Okay, mom." Just a few minutes after Sage left, I got bored of just standing around in the kitchen. I walked into the living room to see all the furniture pushed against the walls to make a dance floor. I looked the crowd over to see if I recognized anyone. There was a lot of people from school and some from other schools. There were two people that stood out the most. They were on the opposite side of the room. One had their arm on the other's shoulders. They were surrounded by other teens talking in one big circle. Looking like they had no care in the world about what was going on around them and having the most fun just standing there being near one another. Tearing my eyes off of them I walked around looking for the three girls that I came with. After about ten minutes of not having any luck finding them. I headed back to the kitchen for my second beer. When I entered the room, a few more people were in there. Most of them did not even spare me a glance as I went over to the coolers. I had bent over to get a better look at what left inside them when I felt a presence behind me. Standing up and turning around I saw a face that I was hoping to avoid the rest of the night. Maybe it was karma wanting to get back at me for something I did in the past, or maybe fate just wanting to play a cruel joke on me. Standing before me was Drake holding two solo cups, one in each hand. "Well, isn't this a surprise; I thought this wasn't your kind of scene," he said before bringing one of the cups to his lips. "Yah its not but I decided for a new view. Which I was enjoying only a few seconds ago until you decided to get in my line of sight. Well if you'll excuse me i have to get back to my friends." with that said I started to walk out, not wanting to be next to this prick any longer than needed. As i'm about to walk out the door Drake grabs my wrist and making me turn around to  come face to face with his. "Now what's the rush, don't you want to hang out with me for a bit. I bet Lenna wouldn't mind if we had a little fun before I have to get back to her." A look of disgust crossed my face once those worked registered in my head. " I don't think so. Have you ever heard the saying, two wrongs don't make a right?" "Yah what's your point." "Because obviously your parents have not and made you. Good thing I don't have to deal with their mistake anymore." With that there are no amount of words to to say that describes the anger that crossed his face. Drake started to squeeze my wrist that I think a bruise will appear. "You brat," he exclaimed. Raising his hand up like he was going to hit me. I closed my eyes waiting for the impact. However it never came.
