The White Hawk

Backstory

Summary (More like Essay) of Character: Jacob Prince was the only child of 2 Unknown People.  He was kidnapped by an unknown group and was experimented on by a secret government laboratory until the age of 14. It was torture, and he felt like he would never escape. While being experimented on, he was injected with and unknown substance. Unbeknownst to anyone, the substance was supposed to modify the abilities of the user, which gave him the powers he has today. One day, he realized he had obtained his new powers, and broke out of the facility. He moved into a small city on an island, and started going to school there. He met Violet Valenzuela, and many other of her friends. They didn't know each other very well until an insane and ruthless villain terrorized the city. Her name was Flame Empress. Jacob, at the time didn't have a costume, nor did he have a vigilante identity. So, he made one. That was when the White Hawk was born. This is when Jacob got to know Violet a little better. He eventually found out the horrible things that Flame Empress had done over the years, especially finding out that Flame Empress had killed Violet's parents. At around this time, Jacob found out Violet was a mutant, but didn't think of it too much. This is when Jacob noticed he and Violet had great chemistry together. He still didn't know the rest of her team very well. One day he was severely injured in battle with Flame Empress. All he knows from that day is that Violet fended off Flame Empress the rest of that day.

Now 9 years later, Jacob is still the White Hawk, and protecting the city with Violet and her team. He has gotten to know them a lot better now, and considers them his friends. Unfortunately, this is the time that Flame Empress returns, and terrorizes the city, once again. Jacob was the first to confront her, not willing to fight at first, trying to convince her that this wasn't worth it. When he asked why she did all this, she replied "Because it's fun..." Jacob, obviously, didn't believe her and tried to figure out why she did all of this, though to no avail. After the fight Jacob was severely injured and was sent to the hospital.

After a month of recovery, Violet walked with Jacob back to his apartment, Flame Empress was waiting for them however, with a remote in her hand. Just then, Jacob heard beeping from inside his jacket, and realized that Flame Empress had planted a bomb in his jacket while he was in the hospital. He told himself, "If I'm going down, I'm taking her with me..." He charged up to Flame Empress, and took her by surprise, pressing the button on the remote, detonating the bomb. He barely survived the explosion an was sent to the hospital, where a year after, he met Sam and started to finally date Violet. Sam seemed very strange at the time. Though he knew there was something more to Sam. He found out that Sam was also a vigilante. Also, he showed Jacob that he had a symbiote. Jacob knew what this was and was very interested. At this time he also met Teal Beetle.

At this time a criminal organization called, "Anubis", rose to power. It's leaders also had a symbiote, which had some properties of metal. A new villain rose up called Vulture. They battled each other for months. Then, Jacob was captured by Vulture, and critically injured. Violet fought Vulture over many tanks full of molten metal. Violet knocked Vulture off balance and pushed him into the molten metal. This fused his armor to his skin. He eventually lost all human nature and, basically, became an animal. He eventually sacrificed himself when an reactor in a science facility went into meltdown. Thus, saving the city. Jacob was a bit downed by this and felt like being a vigilante was going to kill him someday. So he had thoughts of quiting, this is when a clone, of two unknown people, tried to nuke the city. Sam sacrificed himself, and stopped the nuke, dying in the process. Teal Beetle also died due to her injuries. Jacob was devastated, believing there was something he could've done. This is when Jacob had enough, the White Hawk would be no more. Then, a young teenager, named Dracio, found the group. He claimed to be a clone of Sam and Teal. Jacob cared for the boy, wanting to be the father figure in his life, knowing he wouldn't have a father. Though, it appeared the teenager did not like Jacob.

Jacob then realized the boy had a scarab, as Teal Beetle had, and a symbiote, which Sam had. This just reminded Jacob of Teal and Sam, making him feel even worse. This is also when a kid named Pierre showed up to town. Anubis had been in a bit of a civil war, rebels of Anubis went to the mall and cornered a girl. Who would later be revealed as Liberty. Who Pierre fell in love with. Pierre killed them all, though not even Pierre knew how he did. Jacob watched all of this happen. Pierre was discovered to be a clone of Cheshire and an unknown person. Jacob liked Pierre but Pierre did't really like Jacob. Pierre eventually built and AI, who had Liberty's personality in it. Jacob noticed that Pierre was getting VERY attached to the AI and Jacob confronted Pierre about it. They argued for a long time until Violet stepped in. A while after, Jacob apologized to Pierre, who forgave him. Then, the city was attacked by Anubis, who at this point were thought to have been destroyed. The team gave their best effort but failed miserably. Violet and many others were killed. Jacob saw everything, while bleeding out on the roof of a building. He now hates life and no longer believes it is worth living. Since Violet and so many others that he loves are now dead. He believes that it was somehow his fault, for not being strong enough to take on Anubis.
