MORNING AFTER
MAYAS POINT OF VIEW
I woke up and I looked around and I noticed everyone else was still sleeping. I go out onto the fire escape and I cry. I'm leaving New York. I hear the window open and I see Charlie. He says "maya are you okay?" I wipe my tears "I'm fine... no I'm not. We're leaving New York." He hugs me and we sit there. I pull away from Charlie and I smile. He looks into my eyes and starts to lean in and he wipes off my tear stained cheeks. "It's going to be okay Maya." I sigh as I relax in his arms. I ended up falling asleep and waking up in Rileys bed.

I go into the kitchen and I see Lucas. I walk and sit next to him. I hug him and he grunts while trying to get me off of him. I put my hand on his cheek and I say "what's wrong?" He gently takes my hand off and says "nothing." I grab a yogurt and I sit there and I watch him. I don't even open it. I look at the wall and I glance at Lucas every now and then. I finally stand up and I walk away. "Did I do something to you Lucas. Because the last thing I can remember was you assisting me. And I'm ignoring that because our friendship is being held together by a thread before that happened." I turn and I see Charlie.

I take a walk outside and I see Augi. "Hey Augs I'm leaving today." "I know and stop calling me that. My name is August. I'm too old to have a nickname." I laugh a little. "You're full name is Augusta and you're only 13." "It's August now." I hug him and say "you're still augi to me. You've gotten so tall you're almost as tall as me." Me and Augi both walk home.

LUCAS POINT OF VIEW
Charlie heard everything Maya said and let's just say he wasn't happy. Let's just say he talked to me calmly and it ended in me punching him.

Maya walks through the door and sees Charlie on the floor. She runs over to him and comforts him. I walk away not wanted to see them like this anymore.

I saw maya and Charlie kiss. I just want maya to be happy. I just think she would be happier with me. Maya walks Charlie into the other room.

I go to the store and I buy some flowers for maya. I get back and I see her in the front of Rileys apartment. I look at her and I feel terrible. I hold out the flowers and she just looks at them. I sit next to her and I open the card. It reads "pause?" She looks at me and hugs me and says "pause." When me and maya were best friends we made and agreement that if anything ever got ugly we would say pause and we would take a break from fighting. But whenever someone says resume you have to start from where you left off except you have to be more calm. I hug her tighter and she jumps up and wraps her legs around my waist. "What happened to us Lucas." She says. I rub up her head while saying "I don't know anymore." "I'm still mad at you. If anything he should have hit you." I nod my head and I set her down. She looks at me while resting her hand on my face. She starts to wipe the tear stains off my face. I smile and I kiss her hand. We both lightly laugh. I'm not going to fight with Maya. At least not right now because I know there are going to be a lot of tears when we say goodbye to Riley and Farkle. I hold Mayas hand and I start walking. Maya falls onto the ground and says "carry me please." I drag Maya by her feet down the hallway to Riley's door.

3 HOURS LATER
RILEYS POINT OF VIEW
We are at the airport. My heart starts beating fast. I hug Maya and I say "You are my extraordinary relationship. I'm going to miss you so much peaches." "I'm going to miss you more honey." I hug her tighter and I eventually let her go. I give Lucas a stern look and I say "take care of Maya and make sure she doesn't get into any trouble." I then hug him. I look at Charlie and Missy and I hug them "I know we haven't known each other very well but I'll miss you guys." I watch them walk away and I start to cry.

MAYAS POINT OF VIEW
I put on my sunglasses as soon as possible so the others don't see me cry. Once we get onto the plane I look at take off my sunglasses and I go to sleep. I lay my head on Charlies shoulder. He looks at me and says "aww you poor baby you were crying." A tear rolls down my cheek and Charlie wipes it away. He kisses my forehead and says "it's okay my papaya." I fall asleep in his arms.

LUCAS POINT OF VIEW
Once the plane lands I grabs our bags and I wake Maya up so we could get a cab. I soon realize that this isn't New York and I end up calling us an Uber. We get inside and I look at Maya and I say "resume." "Okay." I look into her eyes and I say "I'm sorry I guess I'm jealous." "That's not fair Lucas one minute you have on Missy's lipstick and the next you tongue down my throat saying how you only want me to be happy." "Because I do I just can't control myself." Maya then throws her hands in the air and says "I feel like ever since the camping trip your life has been spiraling out of control and I've been trying to to help you so many times. But there is only a number of times I can help you Lucas." I look at Maya and I start to cry while saying "I'm sorry maya. I just want thing to go back to the way they were. Before things got complicated. Before we were together." She smiles sadly and wipes my face while saying "me too."
