I was at the table eating in silence I looked at my grandma as she stuffed her mouth full of meatloaf. For a grandma she did not have many table manners it was like she was in a rush to do something. "Do not open that book under any circumstances" She said still stuffing her mouth. I was confused, she didn't want me to read my mom's old book? "What do you mean?" I said, she look at me and started talking about how the book was cursed and I was just thinking this is absolute bullshit. I was supposed to believe a book was cursed. She saw the puzzled look I gave her and said, "just don't read it ok". Dinner was done and I took a shower and got ready for bed. I couldn't sleep I knew what my grandma said was crap but hell I was curious. As I heard my grandma's door shut and I snuck out of the room and went to the basement I was gonna open that dam book.
