Chapter 2: Hot Hot Hot

"I'm ready for a nap" Lu says as he carries not only his bags but mine as well, walking beside me into our hotel for the next week I nod in agreement "I want food" I say pulling my hoodie off to revel a white cropped tank top, tying it around my hips I hold the door open for him and the people behind us. Smiling as they walk past me in and out "thanks, I got it go ahead" I hear behind me as I continue to hold the door I turn slightly "no it's cool go ahead" I say as he comes up on the side of me to pass me "thank you" he says and smiled politely "no problem" I say back smiling "I like your hair. it's different in a good way" he continues the newly found conversation taking off his sun glasses to my surprise, revealing crystal clear greenish gray eyes "thanks, I figured I try something different. Didn't think I'd actually look good and like it too" I say as I walk side by side with this stranger, Lu not too far ahead of me indulged in his phone probably texting one of his "friends" as he likes to call them "well it compliments your facial features really well. Makes you look edgy with the clear frames" he says complimenting me for what feels like the millionth time.
I laugh "thanks I really do appreciate it" I say as I stand in line, still next to this stranger who just so happens to be very attractive "no problem love. I'll see you around, yeah?" He says as he looks me up and down once more backing away from me slowly "yeah nice meeting you" I say as I turn to the hotel receptionist and hand her my ID and information "yeah you too" he finally says as he smiles and leaves "thank you miss Monroe. Your room will be ready in approximately 45 minutes. If you'd like we can contact you when it's ready" she says as she hands me my identification back "yeah that'd be great, I'm just gonna go have lunch" I say as grab my rental key and smile "that's perfect, your room will be ready by the time you come back. Enjoy" she says "thanks love" I say as I grab Luca by the shirt and pull him towards the parking garage "come on I'm hungry" I state as I drag him along "your always hungry" he says as he finally looks up from his phone to put our bags in the back of our rental car "yeah and your always thirsty. That's why you have a boy over almost every night" I say as I adjust my seat and start the car "wow look who's throwing shots! Little Miss I just need some dick in my life" he says as he turns to me and records me "sit on it and spin" I say as I laugh and flip him off "you know just how I like it baby" he says as he laughs along with me.

7:37pm
I stand in the mirror and adjust my nicely slicked bun fixing the little pieces of hair hanging from my bangs. As Luca walks out the bathroom in his short sleeve navy/maroon striped button up and black jeans with doc martens "you ready to go lovey" he says as he grabs his clutch and mine as well "yeah I just need to fix my boobs and put on my boots" I say as I reach in my bra and adjust my boobs so it's just enough but not too much "I lovvvvee the fact that we have on matching outfits. Your dress looks so good btw" he says complimenting my bodycon navy blue/black/ maroon horizontally striped tank top dress " me tooo" I say reaching down to put my boots on. I step into them and grab my clutch from his hand "if I wasn't into dick I'd definitely get after you" he says as he looks dead at me with a straight face, I turn and look at him "you know, sometimes I hate you" I say as I open the room door, he starts laughing "ok I have to pee before we leave" I shake my head "and you say I'm a mess" I say as I step out into the hallway. I hear loud voices coming from the side of me I turn to see the beautiful man from early in a group of other very VERY attractive men, all dressed nicely. I turn my head quickly as I realized I'd caught his attention and I start to text my mom

"Hey just wanted to say I miss you like crazy. Tell everybody I said hey and I love and miss them so much😘"

"Hey" I hear as I look up from my phone "hey" I say back as the man from earlier walks up to me. I feel my throat go dry as he gets closer. A tattoo filled chest exposed in his half buttoned designer shirt, dress pants and dress shoes "I didn't properly introduce myself earlier, ha and of course I realized that after I already walked off. I'm DeAndre" he says as he reaches for my hand to shake, as I place my hand in his "it's nice to meet you. I'm Reece" I say smiling shyly as he puts his other hand over the top of mine "it's nice to meet you properly this time" he says as he smiles and runs his thumb over the top of my hand " you too" I say. We stand there and look at each other for a moment "you look stunning" he says as he continues to hold my hand in his, I can feel a hot flash come over me and heat rise to my ears "thank you" I say and look behind him to his friends who are now observing us from down the hall "are you from here?" He asks as he finally let's go of my hand letting it slowly drop to my side "no, I actually live in Chicago, I'm here for work" I explain he nods "ohh ok. I was wondering is all should have known. Considering you have a country accent" he says as he as he laughs I nod in agreement and laugh "yeah I know, it used to be worse than this" I say, he raised his eyebrows just as he was about to speak "Dee c'mon man it's time to go" I hear from behind him he looks over his shoulder and sighs "I'm sorry love, can we continue this conversation later" he says as he walks backwards I nod "ok great, I'll see you later beautiful" he says as he smiles and walks away leaving me standing by my door. His friends give me one last glance and they all walk away. I turn the opposite direction as Luca finally walks out the room "sorry I got a phone call" he says as he walks out shutting the door behind him "it's cool" I say as we start to walk to the elevators.

1:45am
My phone screen lights up as I finally sit down "that little dinner party your work threw was soo cute. The photo booth was a nice touch as well" Luca says as he sits on the bed running his hands through his wet hair, I nod in agreement from the floor as I sit in front the full body mirror and finish braiding my first braid "I love being an intern for mrs. Watts" I say as I begin braiding my next braid. "She's super sweet" he says as he pulls the blankets back on our king sized bed "oh. my. god. " Luca says from the bed "what" I ask as I pull the rubber band from between my teeth and secure my braid "I just got multiple Snapchat notifications" he says staring at his phone laying next to him on the bed "ok your point is" I ask sitting on the bed "you'll never guess who from tho" he says as he picks up his phone. I shrug pulling the blanket over me as I lay down "surprise me" I say as I take off my glasses and set them on the nightstand "Elijah" he says....
