how to express my
undying love for him?

birds were tweeting outside seunghoon's window and the sun seemed to burn brighter than ever, still the young man didn't have any plans for getting up today. his head was still spinning and he felt sick, the insane amounts of alcohol he consumed last night probably being the cause, however he didn't regret.

first of all, minho and him rarely went clubbing anymore so yesterday had been a day the twenty-four-year-old had looked foward to for some time. the second reason he enjoyed yesterday was the fact he was able to forget about jinwoo for a while, even just for a couple of hours, which already had been crazy - seunghoon thought of jinwoo each and every day, the beautiful male just won't leave his head.

even now, when he thought about the older male's youthful face, a part of him smiled like an idiot when the other part grimaced, an undeniable heartache growing inside of him. he wanted to tell jinwoo how much he fell for him, but he didn't know how. he wasn't exactly terrible with words, actually, seunghoon knew how to make use of language well, however the fear of rejection overshadowed his skills, making it impossible for him to grab the right words.

jinwoo was another level ㅡ seunghoon believed he had to be from another star looking at his ethereal beauty. every time he looked at the other, he caught his heart skipping beats and he came to ask himself if this much love could be deadly, eventually. he wanted nothing more than the other's small head resting on his chest, his hand running through the older boy's soft looking hair.

a wistful sight left seunghoon's mouth before he got up, acting against his decision not to do anything today earlier. breakfast was mandatory; rule number one in the lee household, even with a headache that bad that the tall male rather wished he'd die.

"you're still asleep," he sounded amused as he shook his head and lightly hit his friend's shoulder, not triggering any sort of reaction. the peaceful expression on minho's tanned face almost made seunghoon feel bad about having to wake him up, but he knew all to well that minho would be complaining about seunghoon not asking him to have breakfast with him otherwise, so this had been completely necessary.

"song minho," he pushed his shoulder again, significally harder this time, "you're seriously too much sometimes! just wake up, you ugly ass," he grimaced a bit, starting to continuously hit his best friend when suddenly, a pillow crucially hit his face, causing him to freeze in his movements.

"will you stop, you fucking bastard?" minho slowly sat up on the rather uncomfortable loveseat he slept on, blinking at seunghoon who didn't even mind the harsh language anymore; he knew minho didn't mean it like that, he knew that was just his way to express how much he adored seunghoon.

"i won't," seunghoon said after a short while to make minho believe he actually thought about it, giggling cutely. the younger male pushed away his childlike hyung, putting on an annoyed face. even if all feelings he had for seunghoon were of platonic nature, he had to admit the other had been really adorable, to the point he couldn't believe seunghoon had actually been older than him.

"how are you feeling?" seunghoon said, finally standing up and walking over to the kitchen area, starting to make breakfast. minho knew the question was a rhetorical one but still he decided to reply with a groan, slowly getting up to help the slim male.

"i can relate on a high spiritual level," seunghoon chuckled, focusing on the egg he was about to fry. "so, that was fun. let's do it again some time," a soft smile crept on his face when he faced his friend for a second.

"i hate to break it to you," minho said, already laying the table, "but i have a job plus i'm still studying at university, you know," he sighed, running his hand through his hair. how much he wanted to spend every night like yesterday, in companion of his best friend, careless, free. "i have an idea though."

seunghoon raised his eyebrows, curiousity growing in his expression. minho usually had the dumbest ideas, but granted, they were fun most of the time so seunghoon had always been in.
"what kind of idea? the fun kind?" he put the already finished eggs onto the table before he sat down, minho following.

"not quite," minho said, focused on shoving the fried eggs onto his plate. minho was the most concentrated when it came to food; not even music or his job could make him this serious in the matter of a few seconds.
"look, seunghoon. you have to do something about you and jinwoo," he started eating, not really bothered by the fact he was chewing and talking at the same time.

his best friend immediately started coughing, staring at minho in shock. this was a rather sensitive topic and touching it that carelessly; well, seunghoon didn't see that coming. his hopes for avoiding the jinwoo topic today had been crushed in just a few seconds. "minho," he grimaced before he looked down onto his plate, focusing on his food. "i don't know how. i already told you."

"...what about a song?" the younger male said after a short silence. "music is the best way to express your feelings," he shrugged his shoulders.

"yeah but i'm not a songwriter," seunghoon scratched the back of his head, looking at minho again. "i can write mediocre lyrics, but even that is meaningless when it comes to jinwoo ㅡ the words seem to be running away, minho," he bit his tongue when he realized how desperate he sounded.

"what if someone helped you?" minho shrugged his shoulders, already thinking about someone to do exactly this; he thought about the young talent who he met in university, how charming he was with his guitar and how he always thought he was a genius when it came to songwriting, even better than minho himself.

"you?" seunghoon lifted an eyebrow, looking at the male sitting across from him, "i don't know," he shrugged his shoulders, "it's weird to talk to you about my feelings like that." slowly, he finished his eggs. not that he wasn't close to minho, but somehow talking about deeper feelings like love wasn't really something the two boys did.

"i know," minho said while still chewing, "i suggest you to go to a stranger. i know someone who writes such good songs, you'll be mindblown."

"i don't know," seunghoon grimaced a bit, "i don't think i want to," he got up to do the dishes but instead just placed the plates next to the sink; laziness won over him. "if i get help it's not completely me expressing love for jinwoo. i really don't know."
