Chapter 23

Meri's POV:

I am just here with the guys already eating. I noticed that Simon and Martin has been looking at me and Ray for a minute now and they would snicker.

I put my spoon down and look at them. "What?" I asked looking at them. "Oh nothing..." Simon snickered. I just rolled my eyes and I feel something is crawling on my leg. I felt shivers on me and I saw Ray is smirking a bit. I look down at my leg and saw her hand. I tried to hide a blush and continued eating.

"Meri's hot red...what's wrong?" Baki asked as he looks at me continued eating his meal. "N-nothing!" I replied, I still can feel Ray's hand. "Ray...stop that..." I whispered making sure no one sees me moving my mouth.

I felt Ray's hand move off my leg and I sighed in relief. To be honest, I can't handle Ray's teasing, her teasing is just so, freaking irresistable, you know...

Then I was cutted out of my daydreaming when Baki asked me something. "So, why was Bodil666 after you?" I swallowed my the food inside my mouth and spoke. "Because he knows I know where the book is." Simon chokes on his food.

Everyone looked at him while Martin makes a circle on his back by rubbing on it helping him calm down. "You kn-know where the book is??" He coughs. "Yeah, and promise me no one will know..." I look at all of them with a worried face. "We promise..." All of them replied in a syncronized way. "Okay so, after we eat, we will go to some place no one even knows..." I look at Ray and she look back.

"I will make sure no one will hurt you..." She puts an arm on me and I smiled. "Thank you sweetheart..." She kissed my forehead. "HOW SWEET!!!!" Deadlox laugehd and I heard Ray growled at him.

"Whoa! Calm down Ray!" I chuckled and starts to pet her. She starts to purr a bit.

Simon's POV: short

As I am really surprised that Meri knows where the book is, we still need to focus on our surroundings, since Bodil666 might know where we are.

The RedStone pendant is really a dangerous thing to have if Bodil has his hands on it.

We are not gonna allow that and we will make sure he won't be able to get that Stone...
