Seungmin would have left then if it weren't for the disappointed face of Felix that will flash whenever he even thinks about leaving.
He has been seated for almost an hour in one of the booths, his butt started to ache thirty minutes ago and people started to stare at him forty-five minutes ago, sending him glances of pity.
Where the hell is Jeongin?
All he could do while he wait was scroll through twitter which was starting to get boring or play with the napkins on the table. More people stared at him when he started tearing up the napkins with a deep frown. Great.
"Sir?" He heard someone. He looked up to see one of the waiters who kept on sending him apologetic looks, even now he was sending him one. It made Seungmin's blood boil.
He doesnt' want pity. He doesn't even want this date. So it will be fine if Jeongin doesn't show up. Right?
Seungmin smiled politely and bowed his head a little bit. "Yes?" His gaze turned to the pin on the waiter's name. "Jimin?" The said man smiled uneasily and nodded.
"If you won't be ordering we'll need to kick you out." Jimin stated, looking all the more sorry for him. Seungmin just wanted to stab him with napkins so he could stop doing that with his eyes.
He held his composure and replied, "Sure. I think I might just be leav—"
"No you aren't."
It took his everything not to just get up on the table and jump on it until it breaks when someone — some random person — butted in the conversation and decided he wasn't going to leave the parlor.
His head snapped towards the boy that dares to intervene his conversation with Jimin, who was backing away slowly with a slight smile, and studied him up and down, stopping himself from narrowing his eyes.
The stranger sat across him and made himself comfortable; he looked like he had ran in a marathon. His black hair was sticking to his forehead and his chest heaved up and down heavily. A crooked grin was plastered on his lips and boy does it make Seungmin wild. As in wild in a bad way.
"Who are you?" He spat out, his hand going up to go through his hair. "You know it's rude to interrupt someone when they're talking someone and then seat down with them without asking permission."
He was very stressed. His date was nowhere to be seen and his phone was low on battery, Chan was probably back at the apartment and Felix is having the time of his life with someone. All in all, this was a very bad idea.
The black haired boy only smirked, shrugging his shoulders. "Lets just order first. I'm starving!"
Seungmin would have complained and say no but his stomach growled.
With a huff and a small pout, he agreed. "Fine."
They got their menus and decided on what they were going to order. When they were done, the stranger called Jimin to tell him their orders.
"I'll have vanilla with almonds and sprinkles and hot chocolate." The stranger chirped, handing back the menu to Jimin who jotted down his order.
Seungmin eyed the stranger first before telling his order; the stranger felt so at home even though they don't know each other, who wouldn't be weirded out by that.
"I'll be having one banana split — can you put extra chocolate syrup and chocolate chips? Yeah? That's so cool! — And then charlie's chocolate shake and five layers of chocolate cake!"
Seungmin almost forgot the stranger existed when he imagined all his orders but quickly remembered him when a low chuckled emitted from black haired boy.
"That's a lot of chocolate." The boy commented, leaning on his elbow and then watching Seungmin from his side. "Are you sure about your order?"
The red head wanted to argue but just ignored him and smiled at Jimin.
"That will be all." He said, cueing Jimin to leave.
There was silence in the booth before he turned towards the stranger who was just staring at him with boredom and a lazy grin.
And his blood started to boil again and everything seemed to be ruined.
He clicked his tongue and sipped from the water he was given by some employee. "Who are you anyways? And why are you here?"
The rude boy looked at him as if he was stupid and oblivious, which he was not. The urge to just throw all the tissue at the boy grew stronger.
"Duh, I'm your date."
This dude might need to see a doctor or something.
Seungmin's eyes almost fell off from their sockets when he rolled his eyes so much, but he decided to play along. "Oh, is that so?"
The other hummed and nodded, his eyes closed as if in a daydream.
He pulled out his phone and selected the picture of Jeongin Felix sent him, shoving it in the stranger's face. "Did you just have plastic surgery?"
'Jeongin' peeked an eye open and ogled the picture for a whole ten seconds before laughing nervously, his eyes darting wherever but not on Seungmin. "Yeah, how did you know?"
"You're stupid."
Seungmin flopped his head against the cushion of the chair and took another one of the napkins to fiddle with it. Although he was against dating this Jeongin guy, he couldn't help but feel that he was rejected.
He felt down even though he doesn't want to feel down. Frustration built up in his chest. He hates it.
"You know you could just say that you were pitying me because I waited for an hour for my date." He stated bluntly, the tissue feeling smooth and rough at the same time between his fingers as he rubbed it gingerly. "I won't be mad."
He let silence occupy the air as he waited for an answer, for a reply, for another shrug or another sigh. But he wasn't expecting a big warm hand resting on top of his own.
"No. Because I want to."
What the fuck, Seungmin thought.
