“smile hunny” my mom says as she takes a picture of me with my graduation gown on. i thought to myself how school went by so fast, it seems like yesterday i was just a freshman in high school now i’ve graduated and heading off to college in a few months. jessie runs up to me and gives me a hug, “o my gosh madi i cant believe your not going to be here next year with me, im going to miss you!” i hug jessie back laughing, ” o jessie i’ll be back and i’ll visit you too, and dont forget that were going to California next week, were going to be there for two months!” me and jessie have been planing this trip since i was a sophomore and she was a freshman. this was going to be the last trip we had together before i had to go to college. “jessie, madi come on, we need to get home to help you pack.” my mom yells as she walks to the car. me and jessie walk to the car were my mom was waiting, as she was driving home What Makes You Beautiful comes on the radio, me and jessie look at each other and start busting out with random dance moves making my mom laugh. ” you girls are something ells” she says still laughing.”and that was What Makes You Beautiful by One Direction, stay tune were about to announce the winner for the back stage passes and My Day With One Direction package dill in a few minutes” the radio DJ said. “ugh i cant believe were going to California where One Direction is going to be and we cant see them cause there all sold out.” jessie says sadden by the truth. “and were back!” says the radio DJ. “H-hello? i was wondering by any chance if i won the One Direction package dill?” the lady on the radio sounded way older than a teenager you thought to yourself, the lady keeps talking. “you see my daughter just graduated, and her and her friend are leaving next week for California to celebrate, they are really big fans of One Direction it would mean the world to them if they got these tickets.” my eyes grow wide as i realize it was my mom on the radio! it must be a recorded track cause she wasnt on her phone. “well Mrs.. im sorry whats your name?” the man ask. “Rachle” my mom says back. “well rachle tell your daughter and her friend im sorry cause there not going to do much that night but hang out with One Direction!” the radio guy says back. by the time me and jessie realize what just happened we start screaming in the car like crazy people! “O MY GOD MOM IS THIS REALLY HAPPENING!?!?!” looking at her with my eyes widened. “yep, i picked up the tickets before going to your graduation.” i couldn’t believe what was happening, i also couldn’t believe how calm my mom was announcing it to me.
