Chapter Five - Making Memories, Remembering the past

Kimi P.O.V.

"W-wow, how comes no one's here?" I ask

"Well, it's kind of hard to go somewhere you don't know about" he said with a chuckle

"True. But, how do you know about this place anyways? It doesn't seem like a place a pervert like you would go." I ask while walking over to a bench to sit on

"Heh, I guess. But, never judge a book by its cover!" He said while coming and siting beside me

"Heh yeah, but how did you even find out about this place?"

His face darkness for a moment before becoming bright again.

"Oh, you don't have to answer if you don't want to." I said sincerely

Haruto P.O.V.

"Oh, you don't have to if you don't want to." She said

"Ah! No, it's fine. It's just..."

"Please don't answer! I wouldn't want to bring up bad memorys! Sorry if I did!" She apologized

Heh. She truly is kind. I wonder, why did she always have a hard stiff exterior then if on the inside she's so sweet.

But, coming back to the question at hand.

"I... Used to come here with my family."

"Oh! That sounds nice! I bet there very nice people!"

If only she knew... The visits were the silence before the storm. . The last time I saw, my family was truly happy.

// Flash back! //

I was seven years old at the time. I was... happy.

"Comon' Haru-nii! I'm only a little older than you and you still can't keep up!" My older sister, Īsutā said running away, her medium length pink hair flowing with the wind.

"W-wait! Onee-Chan! I'm getting tired!" My little seven year old self said while my short pink hair moved up and down from running.

"You guys be careful!" My caring mother said from a distance

"Darling! You shouldn't walk like that! The baby..." My father said while holding my mother's stomach

"Aww! You guys are adorable!" My grandmother said

"Mother. Please, stop treating us like children!" My mother said blushing

If only things stayed like this. When it first happened, I couldn't believe it. My mother and father changed right before my eyes.

But, looking back on it now. I should have saw it coming...

Father always coming home late and always had an odd smell. Mother would always cry offer the smallest of things. Eventually that sadness turned to anger at my father. They started fighting more often. Me and my sister would hide in my grandmother's room when it got really physical. I thought it couldn't have gotten any worse than that. But, unfortunately it did...

"I can't stand you anymore! " My father yelled as he put on his jacket

"Wait! Kirai! What about the kids! Our baby!" My mother yelled crying

"The kids? Ha! You really are stupid! They are all terrible! So do yourself a favor and get an abortion!" He said

"BURN IN HELL BASTARD!!!!" My mother yelled

"YOU TOO" he said as he slapped my mother

And with that he slammed the door shut and never came back

After that my mother became unstable. She started hitting, starving us and so many other horrible things that she did. But, none of that compares to last thing she did to hurt me.

She-

*Flashback End!*

"Umm Haruto? Are you ok? You've been spacing out for the last three minutes..." Kimi said while waving her hand in front of my face.

"Hmm? Yeah! I'm fine!" I said trying to hide the pain this place gives me

"I'm sorry..."

"Hmm? Why?"

"I could tell this place reminds you of something. Most likely something sad. I-i'm so so sorry" she said as she burst out into tears.

"Kimi! Are you ok?" I asked

"I'm sorry! I didn't mean-!" She cried before I interrupted her by cupping her face in my hands.

"Listen Kimi! I don't know what you been through. And you don't know what I went through as well. But, I know that when you move on life gets better! I don't know you fully yet. But, I would like to. Please, don't say sorry! Nothing is your fault!" I say our faces get a little closer together.

"T-that's not t-t-true." She said sobbing

"Please Kimi, I don't want to see you cry anymore. I want to help. So, please. Will you help me help you?" I ask

" I don't k-know-"

"It's ok! You don't have to open up now. Heck, i'm not even ready to say anything yet. So, if you're not ready. Don't let anyone make you. Go at your own pace! I can wait!" I said with one of my charming smiles

"I thought I told you, those charms don't work!" She said playfully as she wiped away tears

"Yeah, but at least I tryed!" I say

Wait....

I'm cupping her face. And i'm close to it...

"Oh..." I say slowly blushing as a pink hue comes on hers.

"This is... Odd" she said

The moment seems perfect.

I watch her close her eyes as I close mine. I could feel her breath on my lips. They slightly brush agenst mine until...

Snap!

Eh?

As the moment ends me and her open our eyes and look towards the direction of the sound to see...

"Grandma! What are you doing here?!" I say as my face turns fifty shades of red and she smiles with a camera in hand.

"Sorry! Had to capture the moment!" My sister said coming out of the bushes with another camera!

"H-how much did you hear?" She asked with her soft voice.

"Don't worry! We recorded everything!" My grandmother said

At that moment, I felt blood come out of my nose. And slowly I fainted into Kimi's lap.

Kimi P.O.V.

"Eee!" I said

As Haruto fainted on my lap. Bleeding all over my pants.

"Welcome to the family dear." I heard Haruto's grandmother said

"Now, when i'm I going be an aunt!?" Haruto's sister asked

And with that, I nose blead on Haruto's sleeping figure and fell unconscious.

"Arn't they adorable!?" Was the last thing I heard before I lost myself in the darkness
