*warning: this chapter involves some bad language? if you wanna call it that.*
The bell rings. I drop off my books in my locker and head straight into the hideout.
"Psst, Taehyung." I walk closer to the table, his back is facing the door. I made my way around the table and see him fast asleep, with a lollipop in his mouth.
This kid is going to get cavities.
I should let him sleep, before I turn back I look down. He's sleeping on a drawing he started. I analyze this one. It's really... violent. A guy with words in his body. "Dumbass, douchebag, rat", and other really bad ones. All the way on the bottom, in script, he wrote,
You never deserved her.
I step back. Is it possible that.... Taehyung has a crush on me?
I walk away from the table and start to make my way towards the door.
THUMP
"OW-" I cover my own mouth.. I stumped my foot on the bookshelf.
"Areum-" I hear him mumble in his raspy voice. He quickly goes back to sleep and I quietly leave the room, slowly shutting the door.
When I turn around, Hui and Hyori are standing right in front of me.
"What are you guys doing here?" I asked them.
"Funny," Hui scoffs, "we were going to ask you the same thing"
aw crap.
"So what are you doing here Areum?"
"Nothing, I had some stuff in here" I say casually.
"Let me see your arm." Hui says, holding her hand out.
"I don't do that anymore" I say as I pull up my sleeve and show my arms.
She looks down at them and then back at me.
I noticed Hyori trying to look past me into the door's glass.
"There's someone in there" Hyori says.
I turn back and see Taehyung's shadow.
dammit Taehyung
"Guys there's no one in there."
At that the door opens, I move away and face it. In front of us is Taehyung, lollipop still in his mouth and a messy bedhead. Taehyung notices Hyori and Hui. "What?" he says in a deep voice. He sighs and walks into the boys' bathroom around the corner.
Hyori gasps "no way.." Hui and I both look at her. "Areum.... you didn't-sleep with him did you?"
"Are YOU CRAZY?? Look I haven't even had my first kiss yet, why would I let someone like Kim Taehyung take my virginity?" I tell her.
"Do you even like him?" Hui asks this time.
I look at her. Then stop and think. My mind goes back to the drawing he was sleeping on.
You never deserved her.
I look at Hui directly in her eyes. I turn around and start to make my way towards my locker. But before I could even make a step, I stop. And stood there.
Kim Taehyung standing at a small distance from us. His face looks like he just heard everything we've said. I lock eyes with him, he gives me a look as if he were asking me the same question.
I take a deep breath and walk away from all three of them. As I approach the corner, I can hear Taehyung grunt and slam a locker. I continue to walk and head to my locker. I look up and there he is, full uniform, up against my locker.
I open my locker trying to ignore him.
"Areum, I'm sorry" he says.
Again, I ignore him. Next thing you know, he slams my locker shut. "I said I'm sorry!" He's practically yelling at me. I look at him up and down.
"Why are you here? You should be the suspended one." I say to him. He scoffs, "so you're defending that asshole."
"YOU HURT ME!"
"I just gave a little kiss to a girl" He says casually.
"You're the reason why Taehyung is suspended, you started this whole thing .... I'll make sure you get suspended" I start to make my way to the dean's office. He stops me by getting a hold of my wrist. Before I could even blink, he pins me against the locker, holding me down by my wrists.
"You're not going anywhere princess, you wanna start something? I'll give you something to start"
I use all my strength to break away from his grip "don't touch me!" I say firmly.
"Don't talk back to me!" He yells as he slaps me across my face.
As I get back up, holding my cheek, I see Taehyung approaching Sungyeol. He grabs him by the collar and he yells "you fucking idiot!"
Hyori and Hui both try to calm him down, and they separate Taehyung from Sungyeol. "Taehyung, Calm down!!" Hyori says as she holds him back.
"Kim Taehyung!" A voice says down the hall. I turn to see the school's dean walking down the hallway. At that moment I could hear Taehyung sighing.
"What are you doing here?" the dean asks.
I wait a moment. The dean doesn't question Sungyeol. The bell rings.
"Alright all of you back to class" the dean says.
Everyone turns around and walks away, including Taehyung. "Dean wait!" I say. The Dean turns around.
"Do you have a minute?" I ask him.
