Prom, The most wonderful thing in high school, well some people would say. Elli on the other hand would say that it's a waste of time she'd rather study for the big exams.

There was a week left and almost everyone that was going had a date. Elli and her best friends were sitting at a round table during lunch and talked on what they were going to wear to prom, but Elli zoned out because she was studying hard.

Cristiano wanted to go to prom, but not just with anyone. He wanted to go to prom with the person he loved and admired. Since middle school he's' had feelings for a straight a student that never seems to take a break from studying. Even if Cristiano is a athlete, an need to have a lot of bravery he was nervous that he could be rejected by Elli.

With all the courage he had he stood up and made a scene to get everyone's attention. Cristiano was holding a Star Wars themed poster asking Elli to prom.

Elli was shocked. It was really surprising that anyone asked her, especially a athlete. Elli being really confused, nervous and shy said yes. Her friends congratulated her on getting a date to prom. They started talking on what they should all wear and how to style their hair.

Elli is getting ready for prom even though she didn't want to. She couldn't back away now, or she'll seem like a rude person. She was really nervous about what would happen like would she enjoy her time or would she get pranked. She was hoping that the second one didn't happen to her on a important day.

Cristiano goes to Elli's house to pick her up. Elli gets into the car, and they have a quiet car ride. When hey get there Cristiano tries to be a gentleman and get the door for Elli, but she was already out of the car.

They both walked in and people whispered and muttered names to Elli. Elli ignored them and went to the food table. Cristiano asked Elli to dance she wanted to say no, but part of her wanted to do something different, so she agreed.

When they got on the dance floor a slow song started playing. Couples around them started to dance, and they stood there awkwardly. Cristiano was still thinking of what everyone muttered about Elli and thought that he should have done something. "Hey Elli," Cristiano said loud enough for Elli to hear. "Yeah what is it Cristiano," Elli looked up at him. "I just wanted you to know that I don't care about the name-calling. Labels don't matter to me."
