As I mentioned in the previous "introduction", this guide book is the offspring of a project I'm doing in English, called "Personalized Learning". We each chose a passion we wanted to learn more about, and then we had to do a project that incorporated learning, teaching, and a large final component. While researching ways to better myself as a writer (which may compel me to start writing more), I'm discovering ways that I can teach others or provide ways for them to teach themselves.
So far, some of the materials I have that will later appear in this book are TEDTalks, self-created games, papers from class, examples of intended audience, tone, and diction in published works, and possibly a Slides/Prezi presentation on intended audience, tone, and diction.
I realize that a guide book is not exactly what you all wanted to see me publish, but now that I've finally figured out what I'm doing for this project, I'm dead-set on pursuing it to the fullest. Summer is coming, which means soon enough I'll have more time to work on this book, which may inspire some writing. In the words of Emily Dickinson, "Judge tenderly--of Me".
