Chapter 1

" Henry, save me! " " Dont worry darling, it will be over soon." " Henry, a zombie is right behind you! " " AGGGHHHH! " I turned it off.  " Man, movies on t.v keep getting weirder every time i watch them. Zombie Apocalypse? Never gonna happen irl. " Hi, im William, but everyone calls me Will. I was about to go to bed when i thought it would be a good idea to watch this movie on t.v everyone kept talking about. I should have listened, because they were talking about how bad it was. I mean, it was so bad, that even the director would give it a 1 star. Anyway, at least im going to bed now. " Good night Mom, Good night Dad. " I said to them as i walked by their bedroom. They looked asleep, but i know that they always fake until i go to bed so they can watch R rated films on t.v. I knew this cause one night, i caught them watching The Shinning at     1:04 am. I feel asleep. I dreamed about the movie I had watched that night and if it happened, i would stick with my mom and dad till the end. The thing was, i woke up and found myself very thirsty, so i went to the kitchen to grab a drink. When i did, i saw my mom and dad watching the same film i did when i was still awake. My mother had been very scared by the film, so she said she was going to go to sleep. She walked to her bedroom. When my dad saw her lay down, he pulled out his phone and at the corner of my eye,he was texting his work. At 1 in the morning? That was not right. I had to see what was going on. I walked up to my dad very sleepy like and scared him a little, but not very much. " Dad? Why are you texting your work at 1 in the morning? " I asked confused. " Oh. " He said. " There was a little thing that went down at work today. I would tell you, but my boss told me that it would be best to not. " " Dad, you can trust me! I wont tell anybody. " I swore. I actually made an oath that i wouldnt tell anybody. " Ok, i will trust you. " He said with a smile on his face. "Your 14, i can trust you. Anyway, there was a chemical. It broke loose and someone got infected by it. Im waiting to see what they say about the Person that got infected by it. If they are fine, i will go to work tomorrow. If hes not... " He paused. " There... calling me.... " " Who? " I asked. " My work. " He picked up the phone. All i heard my dad say is " No... " and " I will come tomorrow." What had happened? Was the person ok? I dont know, but im just going to have to see what happens tomorrow. I got back into bed. I looked at the roof and wondered, " Please be ok tomorrow. " I quickly feel asleep with a shiver down my spine.
