It was around 10 when I heard my mothers voice echo throughout the house. "Kids get up!" She called. I groan as I get up. If you ever meet my mom, she'll expect you to go at the speed of light. Thats right she was a miltary sergeant until last year when she decided she wanted something closer to home. I quickly put on my clothes and made my way, sleepily down stairs. "Morning mom" I manged. " morning luke" she repiles. "Hey mom is it okay if i go for a run after breakfast in the forest?" I asked "sure just be careful" I knew something was up with her. She wasnt acting herself. Whatever. I brushed it off as whatever. Breakfast past and I wen on an hour jog. As I was ending my jog, I saw something strange. I didnt belive my eyes at frist. It sorta looked like a vampire or a werewolf or some kind of hybrid. It turned. The sicken blood fangs, the bright neon green eyes the low growl scared me. I bolted back to the house. "Mom!Mom! Theres some kind of hybid out in the woods!" I said out of breath panting short breaths. "Wait slow down. What did you see?" She asked I thought about it " ill tell you later lets just get out of here for a little bit" i said almost passing out. We all went to some gaming place somewhere in Oakville. After a couple of minutes of playing a video game, Jenna and Matt walked in and tackled me to the floor. Thalia was laughing. A gave each of them a hug. "Luke, mom and dad wants you" my older brother says. I struggled to get Matt and Jenna off my legs. Finally Thalia and Jordan pryed them off. I went outside and talked to mom and dad
