The Move

Chapter 1

Flashback

Hannah's POV

I woke up to the annoying beeping of my alarm clock. What time is it? I think to myself. I grab my watch off of the shelf that is next to me. "11:30" I practically scream.

We move at 1 in the afternoon.

I jump out of bed and rush to the bathroom and take a fast shower. Once I finish taking a shower I rush to the box in my room to get my clothes for today. I grab my dark blue denim shorts a plain grey tee and my black and white plaid shirt. For shoes I put on some black vans. Before I go back to the bathroom to change I grab my necklace that my mom gave me. It has a heart with a key. After I grab all my things I rush to the bathroom and put everything on. I put my hair in a bun because I don't have time to straighten it. I don't really like make up so just put a little bit of mascara on, along with a light lip gloss.

Finally finished getting ready so I rush back to my room and look at my watch 12 on the dot. I grab everything that still needed to be packed and shove them into a box that was by my door. Lastly I grab my iPhone 5s and my wallet and walk down to the living room. Everyone is already awake. Dad is in the kitchen reading his newspaper while Jake and Sally are watching TV. They are my younger brother and sister. Jack is 9 and Sally is the youngest she is 7. I am 14.

Did I mention my mom passed when I was 9. She was in a really bad car accident. I was so sad and mad at the whole situation I didn't eat for one week and all I would do is stay in my room and cry. My dad tried to comfort me but it was no use. After a few weeks I knew I couldn't change anything I knew that my mom wouldn't have wanted me to be like this, so I had to change for the better. When I changed it was like nothing ever happened. I still think about her everyday but I don't get upset. Sometimes I do cry thinking about it but not as much as I used to.

When I was 13 and a half my dad got offered a job in Los Angeles. We didn't know if we were going to move or not, but look at us now. Were already packed and ready to go.

*back in the present when I see my dad and my siblings

"I'm going to say bye to Ricky and Jane, I'll be right back" I say to my dad

"Okay be back by 12:30" He said with a strict tone

"ok" Is all I say before walking out the front door.

Ricky and Jane have been my best friends for 5 years. Ricky and Jane are brother and sister both the same age because they are twins. I am finally at their house. I knock on the door and am greeted by their mom Jenny.

"Hi Mrs. Dune are Ricky and Jane here?" I ask

"Yeah they are upstairs" She said politely

"Okay thanks" I say as I'm walking up the stairs to their room.

"Hey guys I can't stay long but I wanted to say goodbye."

"Hannah!!!" I am greeted by a hug

"We're going to miss you so much" they say at the same time.

We talk for about 10 minutes when I realize I have to go.

"I have to go guys promise me you will facetime me every day" I say

"Promise" Is the last thing I said to them before walking out the door.

*back at home*

"Ready to go, we have a long drive ahead of us." Dad says

"Yup" everyone said

We got in the car and started driving. I put in my headphones and started listening to music.

I finally got my wifi back!!! Hey guys most of you know me from Instagram if you haven't been in the story just letting you know you will be in it. This is just a flash back/memory. The only person in this is from Instagram. Just give me some time to figure everything out whenever I can.
