The Lost Boys

Let me introduce myself.. My name is Moon. Im 16. I am Star's younger sister. I have blonde hair and blue eyes. I can be a bit sarcastic at times.. And I sometimes can have an attitude..

I decided to go see them in their comic shop that was on the board walk.

When I walked in I was having a staring contest with Edgar... He walked up to me.

"May I help you?" He asked.

His voice was deep... For his age.

"Yeah, do you have any comics on horror?" I asked.

"Yeah, right over there." He pointed to the horror section of the store.

"Thanks." I smiled then rolled my eyes when I walked away.

I went over to the horror section, when Alan came up to me.

"Hi, may I help you?" He asked.

"No, im fine. Thanks." I smiled.

"Are you sure?"

I nodded and faced towards him.. When I did he took a quick glance down at my chest then back up to my eyes. I smiled.

"So, you're into horror comics huh?" He asked.

"Yeah, I found an interest in them a few years back. Especially the ones about vampires." I smiled.

"Yeah, those are the good ones." He smiled back.

"So, would you like to hang out later?"

"Really?"

I nodded and turned my attention over to Edgar who was watching us.

"What time do you and your brother get off of work?" I asked.

"11." Alan responded.

"Okay, meet me by the ferris wheel then. Ill be waiting." I winked and walked out of the store.

"What was that all about?" Edgar asked.

"Looks like we have someone to hang out with after work." Alan smiled.

When I got back to the cave, David was in the door way smoking a cigarette.

"Where were you?" He asked.

"Getting myself some friends." I smiled and winked then went inside.

"What do you mean?" David asked following me.

"Im catching myself the Frog Brothers." I said.

"And how are you going to do that?"

"You know they're vampire hunters, right?" Marko asked.

"Im told them to meet me by the ferris wheel at 11. And I know. But they dont know im a vampire. Besides, I need them."

"What do you mean?" David asked.

"I mean, I need someone my age.. You all are old." I said.

"We're only a few years older than you." Paul said.

"Yeah, I know."

"Then whats wrong with us?" He asked.

"None of you show any interest in me. Alan does though.. I could read his mind." I said adjusting my shirt.

"You dont know that none of us show any interest in you." Marko said.

"Well.. Do you?" I asked.

They were silent.

"That proves my point." I said walking off, "Hey Dwayne." I said to Dwayne who was sitting on the couch.

He didnt say anything.. He never really does anyways.

I sat down next to Star.

"So, when are you going to kill your first human?" I asked her.

I have asked her that question a lot.. And as always she would say,

"Never. What I did was a mistake. Drinking David's blood." She said.

"Alright. But you're leaving me alone sis." I said.

"And what you did was a bigger mistake. Killing a human and drinking its blood."

"It had to be done."

"No it didnt!" She shouted.

"Whatever. It was my choice anyways." I got up and left the cave.

When I got to the park, it was almost 11. I waited by the ferris wheel for Edgar and Alan.

After about an hour, I saw them walking towards me.

"Hello boys." I smiled.

"Hi." Alan said.

Edgar was quiet.

"Oh, I bought you this." Alan said handing me a vampire comic book, "I hope you dont have it."

"Aww, thank you Alan!" I hugged him.

"So, what are we going to do?" Edgar asked.

"Oh, id thought we'd just talk.. My mom told me I needed to make some friends since I didnt have any.." I said.

"You dont have any friends?" Alan asked.

I shook my head no at him.

"Thats weird." Alan said.

"Yeah, I know. But people seem to hate me." I sighed.

"Like me." Edgar mummbled.

"What?" I asked.

"Nothing."

"So, do you want to get something to eat?" I asked.

"Sure! But isnt most places closed by now?" Alan said.

"I know of this one place. Follow me." I said walking off.
