~Your P.O.V~

-I'm so weak...- You wiped your eyes, sniffing, -Stupid clown, ruining my life... I hate him...-

You were currently locked in your room, alone for once. You were thankful you couldn't feel those psychotic silver eyes on you. You had already spoken too much in front of them, acted like an idiot, your dignity felt stripped away.

But what did it matter? It was just a stupid monster, he wouldn't care how you act, or your life story, he's just there to scare and kill. But you still couldn't help feeling embarrassed. You knew Officer Della wouldn't believe you, but you had to try anyway.

Yet you still felt alone when he gave you the disbelieving stare, when you saw him roll his eyes. Even though you knew, it still made you feel... Bad.

"Why hasn't that stupid clown killed me yet...?" You mumbled, wiping your eyes, "That's what he was trying to do... And suddenly I'm home and bandaged. It doesn't make sense..."

It's not like you wanted to die. But you were sick of the torment, of seeing slaughtered children, of the nightmares, of constantly being watched. You were tired and just wanted it to end. You didn't want to die, but it seemed like the only way.

You huffed and leant against the wall, wiping your nose. God you were tired. All this overthinking was making your head hurt, making you think stupidly. And your stomach was throbbing slowly, an ache that didn't want to go away. Suddenly, a single piece of candy dropped on front of you, wrapped in pink and with a tiny note.

'Eat Me'

You huffed, instantly thinking of a movie that had this same scenario. But, knowing who the candy came from, you knew it would have a different outcome. The feeling of eyes on you confirmed it. Although as you stared at the candy, you couldn't help but be mesmerised by the neat writing.

A very fancy cursive, that's the only way you could explain it, written almost as if it was generated by a computer. That's how neat it looked. And very non-threatening. Should you take the risk, and see what happens when you eat the candy?

-You'll probably have more nightmares...- You huffed and turned your head away from the sweet lolly. Another huff sounded in the room and this time a blue one dropped in front of you, another 'Eat Me' note.

You growled and pushed the two candies away, "Leave me alone, I don't want your disgusting lollies..."

A yellow one fell, and then purple. It started to rain sweets, and you couldn't help but remember that one scene in a wizard movie, where all the owls delivered letters to an 11-year-old boy. The candies continued to fall, your floor already half covered.

There was no way you were cleaning this mess up.

"Okay! Okay stop!" You yelled over the loud tapping of hard sugar on wooden flooring. The candies stopped abruptly.

You glared into the room, "Thank you..."

One last candy felt, hitting your head. The giggle filling the room caused you to scowl. You wanted to kill the clown, but last time you even thought of that, he almost ripped you apart.

"Now... Why do you want me to eat your candy?" You asked, holding up a neatly wrapped golden treat, "And what exactly will they do to me?"

There was no answer. You rolled your eyes, before unwrapping the sugary sweet, it's transparent goldenness looked suspicious, but you popped it in your mouth anyway. To say it was sweet was an understatement.

Your eyes widened in surprise at it's taste, similar to honey, the candy melted on your tongue. It was gone within seconds, and you sat, waiting for any sort of pain or dizziness. Giving a yawn, you stood and stretched.
