I just got home. I'm trying to turn my keys in the door. The next thing I know, my cell rings.
"I am not in the mood right now!"
I dig in my purse for my cell. I pull it out to look at what it was. It was a number I didn't recognize. I punch in my password and pull up my texts.
It reads:
Dear Selene,
It's me, Greg. You may not know this, but I have a strong feeling we will go far. I will call you to set up our first of many dates.
Love, your future,
Greg
Omg. What do I say back? I didn't realize it was going to be a date! Ahhhh! I am so nervous.
Well I decide to just not respond right now and go inside. I unlock my door and set my purse down, along with my book. I go to my room to relax and watch some TV. I can't stop thinking about him. His gorgeous brown hair, the way he talks, his dark blue eyes. He's near perfect if he isn't already. He is also athletic. I can tell by the way his shirt hugs him. He must be absolutely beautiful under that shirt. I'm glad he thinks it will be a date. Maybe I do feel the same way. I myself don't think I'm good enough. I have auburn hair, blue eyes, pretty muscular, I guess. I'm a nice singer. Maybe I have something to offer? Oh, I hope he makes me laugh.
