Chanyeol concluded that he was, in fact, developing feelings for the petite male.

It wasn't that big. He could tell. But it definitely was something serious. Because ever since Park Chanyeol broke up with his ex-girlfriend in college, he had never felt serious romantic interest in anyone at all. Not even his ex-wife.

But that was probably also the main problem here. You see, the giant had never felt any strong urge to be near someone, or basically the strong feeling of attatchment to someone other than himsel for years. And he didn't know what to do about it. He learned from the past that jumping on your crush out of nowhere wouldn't be that good of an idea. Same goes for confessing right after your first date, which Chanyeol had never had with Baekhyun. The lunch wasn't considered as a date, it was just a lunch between two friends.

Chanyeol hated how much his son was right. Some part of him wished Kyungsoo would just keep his thoughts to himself that day, because if he did, Chanyeol would probably be having those late night calls with Baekhyun and hang around the male's boutique any time of the day.

Now it had been just tossing and turning on the bed for 5 nights, waking up late for work, getting frowns from Kyungsoo every now and then, not concentrating on meetings that he luckily could attend, and pretty much spacing out.

Sometimes Chanyeol would pause to think about Baekhyun's pretty square-shaped smile, or his small eyes which contradicted to Chanyeol's own, or maybe how adorable Jiwon was when he pouted and asked Chanyeol to kiss his bruised knee better on the day they first met.

And he would find himself smiling and giggling out of nowhere. Sometimes it would come with butterflies in his stomach and the urge of leaving his office to just straightly approach the boutique.

Baekhyun hadn't been texting or calling him at all after the incident. Chanyeol wouldn't blame him, though, he blamed himself instead for developing the stupid feeling and not having the courage to text Baekhyun at all. Not even one single apology.

Because every time his fingers started to type things he would like to let the smaller know, he would re-read it again and thought it was either too cringy, too cheesy, too corny, or too cold.

Chanyeol didn't have the courage to text his crush.

The CEO of the wealthy toys company did not have the ability to send his crush a simple 'hey' because he thought it was too weird.

So he came up with an idea. If he couldn't reach Baekhyun through social media, might as well just see him in person. It was probably the reason why Chanyeol was found in a supermarket near Baekhyun's boutique at 3 in the evening. He had been requesting his secretary to delay or cancel his meetings for almost a week, or to send Jongin—his cousin, to attend instead.

He tried to act normal. As if he didn't have any other intention than to shop. But duh, what did a Park Chanyeol know about shopping? Grocery shopping, to be exact. He had everything done for him most of the time. He didn't even need to think much about his baby Kyungsoo.

That was pretty much why you could see a drop-dead gorgeous tall man, dressed in full Adidas clothing, walking around the supermarket for two hours only to buy ice creams.

Chocolate ice creams, to be precise.

The cycle happened for more than 3 days. Chanyeol really needed to bump into Baekhyun in some way! He regretted avoiding the piano lesson last Friday because he was still scared. It was Wednesday and Chanyeol really couldn't wait for another two days to see Baekhyun.

He missed Baekhyun so much.

Right when Chanyeol was ready to walk out of the supermarket to pay his ice cream, he saw the figure he wanted to see the most. There he was, his crush standing along with his boy trying to reach for a carton of milk on the top shelf. Of course, the midget wasn't able to reach it.
