Woke up mid afternoon
Rain drops lightly dropping
So loud but yet so silent
I'm glad
There's no sign of stopping
Coffee steam and my sunset dream
Waiting for you to walk up the driveway
My pillow misses your head
Maybe another day
We haven't spoke
Content in this silence
But yet screaming in this rage
Of longing
Lost sense of belonging
Another day the same
Another day watching the rain
Promise we'll see each other again
I can't stand another day in the wet
Tell me I won't be waiting forever
Is it the raindrops or am I just upset
Tears fall on my window pane
Oh the pain
Washing away, yet the
Same person reflecting back at me
A chain
Of droplets telling a story
A story without the sun rays
Missing the gaze
Of you, a time when
I wouldn't be alone
On these rainy days
YOU ARE READING
A boy in this f***ing world.
