Elenas POV:
Monday. That dreaded day of the week everyone hates has finally came. No more relaxing in bed during the weekend, that's what normal people do right? Not me but I'm not what a lot of people consider "normal" my weekend consisted of homework. Most teens would hate that but I actually sort of loved it, it gave me something to do in my other wise boring life. Don't get me wrong i may like doing my homework but I still hate Mondays. I am still a little human.
In the early morning at six thirty and lazily rubbed sleep out of my eyes. I sat up with a big yawn and slowly peeled away my duvet to reveal my tan legs. I got out of my warm bed and waddled over to my bathroom to investigate the nights damage. Switching on the light I stood in front of my large mirror cringing at the sight; I had large bags under my eyes and my hair had decided it wanted to be a birds nest today. Beautiful. Next I began my morning routine to try make myself look a bit more presentable.
After washing my face, brushing my teeth and hair I changed into a black Planet Print Drop Shoulder Hoodie with a pair of light blue skinny high waisted jeans along with some black Nike air max 95s. By the time I was mfinished it was 7 o'clock which left me thirty minutes to get to school.
"Cole?" I called out into the hallway as I poked my head out of the door.
"Yeah?" I head a distant deep voice yell back.
"Are you ready? We gotta go!" I informed him. Just then he stepped of of his room wearing a white t-shirt covered by a dark flannel and black jeans and shoes. I walked out to meet him in the hallway and we both walked down the stairs together. We quickly walked through the door and down the porch steps towards the blue 1969 Chevy Camaro Convertible that we shared. It was a gift from our father when we got our drivers license, at first we were annoyed that we couldn't have a less expensive car of our own but we learnt to deal with it. After all it was a beautiful car.
"I'm driving today." My brother said twirling his keys on his forefinger. I nodded my head and walked round to the passenger side and got him and he did the same.
"You ready for today?" He asked me as he put the keys into ignition and turned them causing the car to hum beautifully to life.
"Yeah I got all the homework done so it'll be like any other day." I replied looking out the window as we pulled out of the drive way and down the street.
"Of course you do your Elle. Hey did you hear? Finn Hunters got released from jail." Due to this news I turned towards him with a shocked expression on my face.
"Really? They're letting that maniac on the streets again? How many times does he have to beat up someone almost to death till he gets put away longer?" I asked not really expecting an answer.
"I dunno but try stay away from him okay? He's dangerous." He warned.
"Why would I even go near him?" I asked.
"Well It's pretty common for girls to fall for bad, dangerous guys like him so I'm worried about you." As he said this he risked a chance to glance at me showing me he truly meant what he said.
"You have nothing to worry about, I won't go near him and he won't come near me." I told him in an obvious tone.
"Good. Don't feel like getting beaten up anytime soon." He said with a deep chuckle making me smile.
