Part 8

We were in LA and it was 3 days until my big performance. In our hotel room we have Millie Sadie Sophia and me. Me and Sophia were sleeping together in one bed and Millie and Sadie in the other. I couldn't sleep because I was so stressed. What if my voice cracked? What if I forget a lyric? Or play the wrong notes? I was so stressed I decided to go outside on the balcony and stare at the streets. I heard the door open and Sadie was there. She half smiled and stood next to me. "Are you stressed" she said. "Very" I replied sighing. "It's ok we'll be cheering you on Sophia invited the it cast and of course Noah gaten and Caleb will be there and I don't believe Finn will be there." She said putting a hand on mine. I sighed and went back in. I layed back next to Sophia and Sadie next to Millie and I eventually fell asleep.

———— Day of performance ————

I was backstage with Millie who was going to introduce me. I breathed and took a sip of water. "You'll be ok" Millie said hugging me. "I hope so I've been practicing since the day you got me this" I giggled. She smiled and grabbed the microphone to go out. An edit of me was playing as she walked out. I heard the crowd cheering and I took a deep breath as Millie introduced me. "And here we have her y/n y/l/n" I walked out with my guitar and smiled. I saw the it cast along with Sadie Noah gaten and Caleb sitting in the middle of the room yelling and screaming for me. It boosted my confidence a lot. I breathed and started never be the same. As the songs got too upbeat for my guitar, the mini band came out. I was thinking about invited Calpurnia but then I knew the fandom would go crazy so I hired a band I heard on YouTube a couple times. I started to do primadonna and was singing and I looked up and saw him. Finn Fucking Wolfhard. He was about 4 rows behind Sophia and the others. I kept singing but my breath hitched a bit. I saw Wyatt look at me a bit weird and I put a four up so he could know. He got the message and looked four rows behind him and saw Finn. His jaw clenched and I kept singing and acting like everything was fine.

WYATT POV

I saw Finn about four rows back and I got a little mad. Y/n is my bestfriend. When I heard about what Finn did to her I was so pissed. I blocked him on every social media and phone number. I walked up to where Finn was and I tapped his shoulder for him to come with me. He followed me out the doors and in the lobby I socked him in the jaw. He held his jaw shocked and I came closer to him and said "if you ever hurt y/n like that again something worse will happen to you bitch". I walked back into the room.(idk what it's called). I sat back down and looked at y/n and smirked. She smiled back getting the message.

YOUR POV

I finished the show and I went backstage. I haven't spoken to gaten at all since the party incident. The truth is, I still love finn like a lot.

————time skip back to the hotel after the show————

I told the girls i wasn't over finn whatsoever and they all sympathized. I was crying and I couldn't believe I still had feelings for him. He did me so wrong. My phone dinged and it was a text from finn.

Finn- meet me at the waterfall next to Starbucks in town square at 12

Me- why

Finn- I have to tell you something

Me- why can't you just text it to me

Finn- because I need to say it in person

Me- why

Finn- it's important please y/n

Me- fine
