preparing to go to college. seems scary. even if you're not even there yet. whether you're in 4th or 7th grade college is always close. it puts so much pressure on kids as their parents expect them to go when, they have their own path. I wish I knew a way to make my parents proud without going to college. it'll be 4 to 10 years of work and even more work after. in your final year of school, you would've maybe already have a car. and then you'll be in college then to your career if you make it out alive. seems okay. until you realize no one's going to be there for you sooner or later. you're going to have to be the adult soon. and you're kids (if you get married and have them. in any order, doesn't matter to me) might experience the same you did. that's why parents exist though. to make sure each generation of kids gets a better life than the generation before.
