Heather?

Cheryl's pov

I woke up with Toni's head laying on my chest. My god she's so adorable.

I wanted to make breakfast, but as usual my lazy self didn't buy groceries, so there was nothing to make.

I got up carefully and slowly to not wake up Toni. I grabbed my keys and my phone from the bedside
and walked outside the door.

I finally arrived about 5 minutes into the drive to Pops. Pops is always the go for takeout, or for eating there. I just find it riveting for a restaurant.

"Hey Pops. Can I have my usual for breakfast?" I say to Pops who's in front of me. He nods and smiles happily, gesturing his hand towards one of the booths.

I make my way towards the booth, and as I was Aviña to sit I hear a faint, "Cheryl".

"Cheryl?" I turn around to the face that was calling upon my name. Oh my god... it's my ex girlfriend Heather? What the hell is she doing here?

"Heather?" I question, still confused as to why my ex girlfriend is here. She's supposed to be in Greendale.

"Hi Cheryl! Oh my gosh, it's been forever." Heather smiles, engulfing me in a hug.

I pull her off gently not wanting to hurt the girl. Although I hate her, I'm still not hurting anyone without a reason.

"Um, what are you doing here?" I ask emotionless. She catches this and frowns.

Bitch.

"Well my mom is working here, since she got fired at her job in Greendale, so I decided to come here. I'm really glad I got to see you." She smiled, fidgeting with her fingers.

I was about to talk and say something horrible, like, "Get the fuck out of my face", but I didn't have time since the food was ready. Pops hands me the food with his usual beamy smile plastered on his face.

Um, sorry Heather, but I  gotta go. My gir-my friend is waiting for me, so I gotta go." I ran out of pops quickly. I got in my car and drove back to Thistle House without hesitation.

I couldn't tell her that I have a girlfriend because she'll go crazy. She's toxic and possessive! I don't want her to hurt my Toni if she finds out.

I parked my car into the driveway of Thistlehouse and grabbed the Pops bag making my way inside.

I turned on the living room lights with a clap of my hands and immediately jump when I see Toni sitting on the couch.

"Where were you?" She crossed her arms. She scans my hands and sees the Pops bag. Her eyes light up in excitement seeing that I got her favorite.

"I went to pops to get breakfast, there's nothing to make." I say simply. I put the bag of food on the table, so she can grab her food.

"You could've woken me up you know?"

I smiled and say, "I couldn't you look so adorable sleeping."

She giggles and kisses me on the cheek and went to the table to eat her food peacefully. I wanted to tell her about Heather, but she was eating so I would tell her when we have time.

(30 mins later)

Toni and I were cuddling in bed, after eating breakfast.
"Hey can we talk?" I stood up from the bed, analyzing Toni's face that has some confusion written on it.

She stood up after me before saying, "Sure what's up?"

I told her everything about Heather and how she treated me back then and the way she cheated on me.

"I'm so sorry baby, she made a big mistake of letting you go and treating you this way. No one should treat you like that: you are the most beautiful, smart, and kind person. I just know she made a big mistake" She smiled, and hugged me immediately smelling her vanilla scent.

"Toni thank you I love you so much, but when I went to pops I saw her there. She had moved to Greendale with her mom and I didn't know she came back, until I obviously saw her. She called my name, and at first I didn't recognize her voice, but I still turned around and I saw her.

I told her what she's doing here and she said that her mom got fired from her job, and moved here. She had the audacity to say, "I'm glad I got to see you again", and I said I had to go. I ran out of there as fast as I could. I was thinking about all the things she has done to me, about breaking my heart and not giving a shit about m." I say, as my eyes start to water and by the time you know it, I'm crying with my hands on my face.

Toni's pov
When I hear Cheryl's story about seeing her ex back here in Riverdale and how she treated her, I started to cry with her. I mean who treats her like that?

"Babe, she treated you like shit and you shouldn't be thinking about her, and I'm glad you told me because now I know the full story. I'm so happy I'm in your life right now. I love you so much. I will always care about you. Although Heather didn't care, it makes me mad because she didn't when you had nothing she treated you like shit and I just feel like slapping her right now." I say, causing Cheryl to giggle. I wrap my arm around Cheryl and give her a kiss on her cheek. She say there quietly trying to stop crying.
