Warrior Angel

Chapter 3

The next day I really didn't want to get up, I usually like getting up early and seeing the sunrise, but this time I was really nervous because of the training with the initiates. I don't know what will happen. It is rare for people to find their human soul mate in the afterlife.

As I was arriving with Aaron and Jacob at the training center I see that one of my guards already has all of the initiates lined up waiting for me. 

"They already did warm up commander Celine," He said

"Thank you,"I said as I saw that some of them were already tired. 

"Some of you seem tired I hope that is not all that you've got because that was just warm up," I said with a commanding voice. 

"As you, all may know I am the one that will be training you so that each and every one of you gets to there best potential. And I will be assisted with the two gentlemen that are by my sides. There are my most trustworthy guards, so if I were you I would listen to what they have to say" I say finally letting Aaron and Jacob speak. 

"Hi I am subcommander Aaron, I learned everything from commander Celine, so if you pay attention and you work hard you will succeed just as I did," He said 

"I am Jacob, I am third in command, I will help you if you ask but step out of line and I am also the one that decides some of the punishments" he said then turned around and gave me and Aaron a smirk, because he does give out the punishments that are less important but only me and Aaron no that he doesn't like it, he has a kids soul. 

"Well, we will begin with hand to hand combat, then flight, so that you can learn to fight without your wings getting in the way and if they do how to use them, LET'S BEGIN!" I yell 

As we begin each of the guards already has assigned 3 or 4 angels to them, I only supervise and say what we are doing that hour, fix some positions and stuff like that. When we are almost done we always have two angels have a fight till someone can't get up. And I was surprised when it was  Demetri( That's his name, I found it out today because he was assigned to Aaron)who was fighting today. 

Since the beginning of classes, I noticed that he was always taking quick glances at me, and I couldn't help but love it. It made me feel special. 

Once the fight had started I saw that he was up against the angel that came out best in his test. I was really nervous and I felt like yelling for it not to happen but as a commander and an angel it went against every rule. I had to stand there and watch as he was pummeled to the ground. I was so relieved when the fight ended. And I saw that Jacob was looking at me with sympathy. 

"Training is dismissed, guard take Demetri to the infirmary,"I said to the closest guards. 

I waited until everybody left so that I was alone in the training facility. 

"Would you guys mind waiting outside, I was hoping I could blow off some stress, alone?"I said to them. 

"Yes, commander" Aaron and Jacob said to me as they headed to the door. 

I prepared everything and once everything was laid out, I began the obstacle course. I always saw that training always helped clear my mind. After hours of training, I saw that it was getting dark, so I left the training ground and headed for my house with Aaron and Jacob behind me. 

I took a shower and went to bed with a sleepless night.
