Chapter 11

Claire summarized the events that happened. She did not know what should be the correct reaction. “Should I be mad at Johnny? Should I love him in return? No. Luke is my boyfriend. No! But I loved it when Johnny said that he love me.”

Claire compared Luke to Johnny. Then, she remembered the times she had with Luke.

Claire met Luke while both of them were queuing at the cashier at a grocery store. It was rush hour so all the stores were filled with people. They were both angry on how slow the cashier staff worked.

Claire complained at the cashier, “Can you open another line so all these customers won’t waste time in this very long line?” The cashier could not do that so Claire was forced to return at the line.

A man talked to her, “What did the cashier said? Will they open another line?”

Claire answered, “No, they will not.”

“Oh that sucks! I need to go home now.”

“Me too.”

They introduced themselves to each other. The man was Luke. Because of the very long time they waited at the line, they were able to talk about many things. From mad, they became amused because of their conversation. Claire found Luke to be a smart guy with a touch of humor.

After that, they met frequently. They fall in love with each other and after a few months they fell in relationship. It was their second monthsary when Claire rode the taxi that Johnny drove. A time came when Luke wanted to had sex with Claire. Everytime they will do it, Claire would oppose it saying that it’s not the right time. They would just kiss as a result. Because of this, Luke became mad at her. Luke became the center of jokes every time he was doing boys’ talk with his pals.

“Hey Luke! Got nothing to boast on?” His buddy would ask.

“My girlfriend is not like all the other girls.” Luke would reply.

“All girls were the same. It’s just about how you handle her.” His other friend would reply.

Too much embarrassment filled the temper of Luke so he confronted Claire about this matter. Claire would refuse him again. She reminded Luke not to listen with his perverted friends but Luke was already outraged. He told Claire that they would not communicate unless she agreed to make sex with him. He left Claire in tears.

Claire was still thinking about her relationship with Luke. She did not want to end it but she also started to like another man, Johnny. As for Johnny, he decided to fight for his love for Claire. He considered all that happened to them to be correct. He was determined to make her fall in love.

Johnny started to write a story. He could not duplicate what he has made in his fantasy so he created another one based on his experience. He spent half of the day writing. He was shocked that he was able to write 20 pages of his story about his concepts and experience about love. When he reviewed it, he liked it. He planned to add more tips and stories as soon as he had new ideas.
