-Olive-
Olive stirred in the grass as she felt the light rain start to hit her cheeks. She rubbed the sleep out of her eyes as she stretched, blinded by the morning sun trying to peek through the clouds. The memories of the night before hit her like a ton of rocks as she felt pain surge through her body. Olive tried standing up with the help of the tree, but failed miserably as she fell back down. She was still feeling completely exhausted from what happened the day before, the man she thought would be forever ended up feeling like the end of her.
Olive heard rustling to her left and what sounded like a man's voice but she couldn't quite make out what he was saying. Olive finally gained enough strength to hoist herself up, she grabbed the skirt of her dress and started walking towards the voice, in hopes to find someone who will lead her back to a town.
"Mirabelle!" Henry shouted, pushing past the tree's. Olive froze in mid step as she saw through the tree's a man dressed as a knight. She almost started laughing, wondering what a man was doing in the forest dressed as a knight and looking for someone just seemed like the weirdest thing she'd ever see. "Mari- Oh, good day M'lady." Henry bowed in front of Olive, and she lost it; she just started laughing. This man in front of her had the whole Dark Ages thing going on, from the outfit to the way he talked. Olive couldn't help but just laugh at the scenario in front of her.
"I'm sorry miss, is everything okay?" Henry had asked, bewildered by her laughter.
"You're- you're-"Olive caught her breath, "Your'e dressed in a Renaissance costume." Olive started laughing again.
"I am sorry my lady, dressed in a rena- rena?" Henry tried pronouncing the word looking very puzzled.
"You are dressed like a nerd." Olive really busted out laughing this time, gripping her sides as good tears sprouted from her eyes.
"I am sorry miss, I don't understand these words you are speaking." Henry kept staring at Olive, confused by her attire, "Are you a wench from another country?"
Olive froze in mid laughter; "Are you asking if I sleep around for money?"
"You have half of a dress on, and the most foolish accent I have ever heard." Henry tried mimicking her accent. Henry cleared his throat; "My lady, please do tell why you are in the middle of the woods half naked if you are not a wench? Are you a pagan?"
Olive just couldn't help but start laughing again. She suddenly stopped as she saw two other men come up behind the knight. "Sir Henry, we still have not found Mirabelle. Perhaps she has gone to the next city over?" The knight speaking looked over Henry and saw Olive standing there; "Sir-" he paused pointing behind Henry. "Who pray tell is that?"
Henry turned back to Olive, "My lady, do tell me, what is your name?"
"And why would I tell you?" Olive crossed her arms, getting a little agitated with this man in a little kids costume
Henry bowed to her; "My name is Sir Henry of Dobbinshire."
"Okay Sir Henry of Dobbinshire;" Olive bowed back scoffing Henry, "I am Princess Olive of South Carolina"
Henry paused for a brief moment, the location not ringing bell. "Are these lies you are telling me? I will not have you speak lies."
"Me lie?" Olive faked shock, "I wouldn't dare lie; Sir Henry." Olive shook her head trying to give an innocent look. This man in front of her was hilarious to her, he had what Olive thought was a great performance going on that she decided to play along.
Henry still did not believe the words coming from this practically naked woman in front of him. What kind of Princess would be showing this much skin and be out in the middle of the woods by herself. "Then may I ask, Princess, why are you out here with no guards or protection?"
