Serendipity?

"Oh gosh!!" I cringed mentally as I felt my sling got stuck on one of the drawers where I was searching for some old files for our new scoop.

Little did I know my coworker/friend Sohee saw me.
"Are you okay Eunhee?" She asked with a worried face.
"I would lie to you if I said yes." I replied.

Sohee is the only person I can hang on to here in Seoul. She is kinda like a sister to me since my mom and dad are both living in Daegu. She was the one who helped me get through all my hardships. Not even my parents knew about my accident a month ago. I didn't want them to worry. I'm scared it would add up to their problems which could worsen their health issues.

I spent one month in the hospital getting treatment for my right arm that was fatally affected by the accident. I was physically and emotionally hurt back then. But now, I feel much better. Thanks to my dear friend Sohee who nursed me back to my usual old self.

"Hey Eunhee!!! Your'e zoning out again! Is something bothering you? Tell me!!" She shouted at my face as she snapped her fingers.

"Oh sorry Sohee!" What was it you want to tell me?" I asked ignoring her questions.

"I said, its past 5 in the afternoon already. Aren't you gonna go to the hospital to remove that damn cast of yours?"
"Holy crap! I have totally forgotten about this! Thanks for reminding me Sohee!!"
I immediately took my sling bag from my desk along with my not so latest phone not even saying goodbye to Sohee.
"Yah! You forgot to turn off the computer!" She hissed.

At the Hospital

I brisked walk as I head towards the clinic of the physician. I cursed at myself for being late. Its already 5:45PM and my Doctor is gonna kill me!  
To reach my destination, I walked as fast as I could evading the people that was on my way.
I didn't even look ahead as I turned to the left wing.
Little did I know there was also someone walking past me.
