Chapter 8

As you run, you suddenly crash into a hard wall... But when you glance up, it was more like someone with hard abs. You massage your forehead, and bow to the person, apologizing.

"Jennie?" the person asked.

You glance up, and notice a very familiar looking face with a mischievous glint in the eyes you looked at everyday.

"Baekhyun?" You ask, shock clearly plastered on your face.

"Jennie!" Baekhyun crushes you with a huge hug you had gotten accustomed to in middle school when you two were best friends before Jungkook.

"Baek!" You groan as you wheeze for air.

"Can't you clearly see she needs air?" a voice asks. Baekhyun drops his arms to his sides, and looks at the person who had spoken.

"Jungkook?" You were confused. 'When did he come here?'

"Sheesh, I was just hugging her," Baekhyun replied, both boys completely ignoring you. You could sense something was going to happen.

"Er, I'll catch up with you later Baekhyun. Jungkook, let's go?" You suggest, tugging on both men's sleeves.

Baekhyun looks down at you, and a small smile appears. "Fine, I'll give you my phone number." Baekhyun takes your phone from your hands, and quickly types in his number. "Text me," he mouths. You nod.

You start to pull Jungkook behind you, who was fuming. "What was that for?" he suddenly asks.

You look at him. "What?"

"What just happened, what was that for?" Jungkook asks sharply.

"Wait... Baekhyun? I used to be best friends with him before he moved away, and you came!" you laugh.

"Hmph," Jungkook crosses his arms, and looks away pouting. "You never told me you had a boyfriend."

"Because I didn't! He was my best friend!" You smirk at his posture and attitude.

"So... You're still single?" he asks, turning around.

You have one look at the look in his eyes, and you make a decision. "Uh-"

"Jungkook! LET'S GO!" Jimin shouted from down the hall.

Jungkook takes one last glance at you before running down the endless hall to meet up with his hyungs for practice.
