The Legend Of The Crystal Maiden

Prologue

Long ago there was a legend. A legend about a girl trapped within a crystal. No one knew how she became trapped, seeing as the story was lost long ago. However, many say that she is still alive, just waiting to break out of the crystal that traps her within. Her appearance kept changing from story to story as many could not remember what she had looked like. Some say she had hair like a fire's flames. Others say her hair was as white as the snow.
A group of travellers were passing through town on a quest to find the lost cave from the legend. They had heard the stories about the maiden, and went out in search of her. They walked into the pub, spreading out and talking to the many patrons inside. The leader, a strong knight of the king, was listening to what he needed to know. The second member was a mage who had graduated from the academy with high scores though she was a white mage. The third member was a small, timid, boy who was known as the healer. The fourth and final member a thief who could slip past even the heaviest guarded places with ease. They had banded together under unusual circumstances to take part in the journey and quest to find this trapped maiden...
