See You Later ...

There comes a day in your life that you just wanted to talk with strangers for some no good reasons at all. And for me, it was this day.

Summer had not been really cool to me ever since it had started, so I fished for my phone in my pocket and searched for the Google Play Store and typed "Omegle" in the search box. I was not really that familiar with that App as I just heard it from my Sister and from my friends. So, I had really no idea on how it looks and how it works.

As I searched for it, a bunch of application popped out on my screen. There were Camsurf, as well as Tinder and Kik. But the first application on the list got my attention. It was entitled "Omeglers - Chat with Strangers ". I clicked it and tapped install as I think that I had already found what I was looking for. As soon as the app was downloaded, I immediately opened it and see how it works.

The moment I got into the app, a message had been displayed on my screen saying,

"Welcome to Omeglers Standard Mode. This mode let you chat 1 to 1 with a stranger. "

So I was in the Standard Mode and that was how it works? Okay. I got it!

I tapped at the red-power-button like at the bottom left side of the screen and it suddenly turned green, telling me I was already connected to a stranger. Then one second, a message from the stranger came.

"M or F?" said the stranger. Wow! First question asking me if I was a Male or Female? Was this really a dating site or something? But I wasn't looking for a boyfriend or stuff actually. Just someone to talk to.

Neverminding my real motives about downloading this app, I replied back and said, " F ;) "

Then a second message from the stranger came, "Age?" , then I replied, "I'm 18..."

Then after not just a second, a message told me that I had just been disconnected to the stranger. Well, that's kinda rude.

So for the second time, I tried to reconnect again and it didn't take long for me to be connected to another stranger. I first said, "Hi." Just simple and plain as that.

It took a few seconds before the new stranger replied back saying, "Hi." Simple and plain as that too. But it had been followed with another text asking if I was a female or male. I guess that was the basic question here in Omegle. Wasn't it?

I told the stranger that I was a female and then he told me he was a male and was 14 years old living in India. I was a bit surprised by his age because for me he was too young to chat with strangers or maybe too young to date a stranger. But who was I to judge anyway? Maybe he was in Omegle just to talk with strangers too. Same reason as mine.

Just to be certain of his reason in using Omegle I asked him, "What brought u here?"

"Tryin' to find a girlfriend..." he told me honestly. "Wat about u?" he asked next.

"Just looking for someone to talk to..." I replied back.

"Oh okay... goodluck finding one. Everyone's here for dating..." he told me. Maybe I should expect that from now.

"Okay then, thanks! goodluck finding a girl too..." I said then he disconnected.

Still laying on my bed, I looked at the clock hanging on the wall to check what time it was already and it read 8:36pm. I had been in my bed for almost four hours and was still early for bed! I indeed had a very long boring day. I hope this chatting with strangers thingy could give me some thrill this summer.
