Backstory:
Myra moved to town three years before Scott and would occasionally play catch with her dad until he started working more. Her mother noticed how upset she would get upset when he left. She told Myra that she had a next door neighbor the same age and introduced them to each other. He took her to the Sandlot for the first time and she right at home.
