Bethany's pov
Dottie finished zipping up my dress.
"Just wait till he sees you!" I could tell Eric was already crying.
"Guys why are you all crying? This is a happy day!" They all laughed.
"We know, but now you're his forever and we're hardly ever gonna see you." Sophie who had been my best friend since we were 2 was definitely crying the most.
"Soph! I'm always gonna be there for you guys! I'm getting married not dying." Again they all laughed. The door opened and my dad walked in.
"It's time sweetheart." I could tell he was struggling to not cry as well. I don't get these people I mean I'm 25 it's not such a weird age to be getting married. And we already have a 5 year old daughter. We left the room and walked down to the beach where all the guests and wedding party were waiting. My bridesmaids (and Eric) all found their partners (Justin's groomsmen). Luckily Justin had a gay groomsman so Eric wasn't all uncomfortable walking down the aisle with a straight dude. Once they all finished walking our daughter Ella skipped down the aisle throwing flower petals here and there. Everyone was laughing and whispering about how cute she was. Finally it was mine and my dads turn. We linked arms and started down the aisle. I saw Justin. I saw a few happy tears run down his face as I got closer to him. "Be good to her." Was all my dad said as he placed my hand in Justin's and walked down to take a seat.
"You look so beautiful." He placed a quick kiss on my hand as we turned to the officiants. We had both a rabbi and a priest to represent both of our faiths.
"We are gathered on this beautiful day to join a man and a woman in holy matrimony." The priest started.
"Not only do they have a beautiful daughter together but they have the truest of loved." The Rabbi continued. "Let's all stand and say the Sh'mah (Judaism's holiest prayer) before we begin." They both did their respective religious parts of the ceremony before our vows. "I believe the couple have chosen to write their own vows. Justin please start us off." Justin took a deep breath before taking out a small piece of paper.
"Bethany, I have loved you from the first moment I saw you. You were singing and dancing along at my concert and I knew I had to meet you. When I serenaded you I felt something I had never felt before. We have been through so much together in the past 6 and a half years and somehow we always stay together. I know both of our past relationships haven't been that great but somehow we put those experiences aside to create our own epic love. I promise to always love and cherish you. I promise to let you sleep in every day of the week," he took a second so that everyone could laugh, "I promise to take Ella to school everyday. I promise that you will never regret the decision to be my wife. And finally I promise that we will grow old together. I love you so much." I wiped a tear before reading my own vows.
"Justin, I have loved you since I was little. You inspired me to be myself and follow my dreams. And when I met you I knew that after all the crap I had endured I was finally getting my reward. You've always treated me like I'm a queen. Even when I thought I didn't deserve you, you fought for us and showed me that you would be there for me through anything. When I told you I was pregnant with Ella I was terrified but you were so happy and I knew how amazing of a father you would be. I've always dreamed that I would meet my soulmate one day and now I'm marrying him. I promise to always love you. I promise that I will laugh at all your dumb jokes even if they aren't funny. I promise that I will always choose you. And lastly I promise that I will give you the big family you've always wanted. I will love you today, tomorrow, and forever." He smiled as I quoted the necklace he gave me for my 18th birthday.
"Justin, please repeat after me. With this ring."
"With this ring."
"I thee wed"
"I thee wed" he placed my wedding band on my finger.
"Bethany, please repeat after me. With this ring."
"With this ring."
"I thee wed."
"I thee wed." I placed his wedding band on his finger.
"Justin, do you take this woman to be your lawfully wedded wife?"
"I do."
"And Bethany, do you take this man to be your lawfully wedded husband?" The last 6 and a half years flashed before my eyes as I remembered every moment from when we first met to Ella being born to him proposing to now.
"I do."
"Ladies and gentlemen, I present to you for the first time Mr. Justin Drew Bieber and Mrs. Bethany Ashera Friedman-Bieber! Justin you may now kiss your beautiful bride." Justin pulled me close and placed a long soft yet passionate kiss on my lips. Suddenly all the applause and people disappeared and it was just me and him. It would be us forever. We had worked so hard for the love that we had. After all the things we both went through we still managed to find each other. And just like that all those nights crying myself to sleep after my papa died and all the pain of my parents divorce vanished and I realized, love heals.
