Interviewer: Thank you for joining us today Rory, it's a pleasure to have you.
Rory: Thank you, I'm so happy to be here.
Interviewer: This is your first tell all interview, are you ready to bare your soul [laughs]
Rory: Well now you've said that I'm not sure [laughs]
Interviewer: I'll start of easy, can you tell us, as I'm sure you're fans are interested, do we have any new music to look forward to or?
Rory: [laughs] Yes, I will be releasing new music soon, I have some studio time booked after Christmas so... yeah I'm really excited.
Interviewer: I mean it's been a while since you've released any music, why's that?
Rory: It has, I just felt really uninspired, I had lot going on and so I had to put my health first, I can't do good if I'm not good you know.
Interviewer: Completely understand, but you're doing good now though right?
Rory: I'm doing extremely well right now, in a much better space.
Interviewer: You kind of disappeared for a year, I mean what happened? Where did you go?
Rory: Honestly? I spent 8 months getting drunk... 2 months in rehab, 1 month locked away in my room and 1 month trying to get my life back together and I'm still working on that last one.
Interviewer: You quite publicly apologised to your fans for the past year of your life and spoke about wanting to be better why would you say that is, why do you feel you're in a better space?
Rory: Erm... I felt like I owed it them, they support me no matter what, even after all the bad decisions I've made they're still there, and I felt like I had let them down, it's a horrible feeling to feel as though you've disappointed people you love and as to feeling better, I don't really know, I'm just happier, I got rid of a lot of negative energy, I've got good people in my life my friends, my family, my-
Interviewer: Boyfriend? I mean you've been hanging out with Matt Champion an awful lot, is he your new boyfriend?
Rory: Who? Matt? [laughs] no we're just friends, he's been a friend mine and Harry's actually since we were kids, but obviously I've been home a lot more recently and he's back in town with his band so we've just been hanging out [laughs] definitely not my boyfriend, but I have been dating... it's a weird thing being single after all this time, so I like to keep that part of my life as private as possible, I learnt the hard way what it means to have your relationship so public and so talked about.
Interviewer: Speaking of that relationship, do you still speak to Ryan? Do you still keep up with what's going on in his life?
Rory: No, I haven't spoke to Ryan since the pictures emerged, I mean I know he's had his daughter but it's been a year and it's toxic to fixate on a situation like that.
Interviewer: So just a year without communication?
Rory: A full year, it wasn't easy but I made it.
Interview: How do you feel about the whole situation? This is your first interview since it all happened, I'd like to hear your side of the story?
Rory: Obviously I was very hurt by it, heartbroken in fact, it felt like everything I knew was a lie and that's extremely hard to comprehend and deal with. But clearly I didn't deal with it well [laughing] After the texting scandal earlier that year I thought we had worked past our issues, I thought we were okay again so it was horrible and it's something I will never forget, however saying that I have nothing bad to say about him, the 4 years we did spend together were amazing for what it's worth and I wish him the best whatever he is doing. I just hope that now he's had his daughter he realises he can't treat girls that way, all the girls he's hurt are daughters to someone and I know he would never want his child to feel that way, that's the only thing I will say. I'm not in love with him but I think a part of me will always have love for him regardless of what happened.
Interviewer: That's really mature and very sweet. But going back to what you said you have been dating again and we've all seen that you have been hanging out with a certain celebrity a lot more recently, a certain best friend, someone who is quite close to you?
Rory: Who? Kendall? I love Kendall so much but we're just not at that dating stage yet, taking things slow, seeing how it goes, can't rush things in this line of work [laughs] no I'm kidding, I have no clue who you're talking about...
Interviewer: So no boyfriend then?
Rory: [laughs] No, no, no boyfriend, just good friends.
Interviewer: Your lying [laughs] I can see that little smirk on your face.
Rory: [laughs]
Interviewer: So there is someone!
Rory: Its complicated... story of my life to be honest but no we're just figuring things out I suppose, I don't know... I hate talking about this, can we talk about something else [laughs]
Interviewer: You heard it here first guys [laughs] But sure, let's talk about your modelling career, that's something new for you, how is that going?
Rory: Really well, I have so much stuff lined up for the new year that I cannot wait to share with you guys.
Interviewer: We can't wait, well unfortunately that's all we have time for, it was lovely speaking with you, and I hope you know you're mistakes don't define you. You're a smart and beautiful young lady and an amazing role model.
