A very wounded, and hungry tom padded out of the cave. He straightened himself, and sat down, lapping at his shoulder wound. He looked at the scar on his neck and sighed.
"That one will take time..." he thought to himself.
Eclipse rose to his mitts and headed down the mountain once more. A glimmer of hope shone in the tom's eyes. "I will survive, get through this, and join a Clan!" He quickly pulled himself back and panted very quickly. A fifty tail length drop was whiskers before his mitts. He could have died!
He chuckled uneasily to himself, "Maybe just try to survive for today."
The tom continued on his way when he stopped. Something very shiny caught his eye. A forest, the leaves shimmering with sunlight.
"There." he thought. "Home."
He raced down the last stretch of cold stone path.
He felt the warm, fluffy moss fill in between his toes, and felt the warm sunlight fill his scarred pelt.
Here he was at last. A place he could call home.
