One day David was coming home from school when he heard a whimpering sound coming from the side of the lane. He stopped down and there lying in the tall grass he saw a young girl around his age with long, curly, auburn hair that flew with the wind as she lay on the ground soaking the soil.
She was short and her dress puffy and flat on the ground pink like her cheeks. She was fair in complexion and she wore a necklace with a heart pendant.
David bent down and asked"Hey, are you ok, little girl?" She looked up and a pair of green orbs stared him in the face. He could have probably been mistaken for a tomato judging by the amount of red that crept on his face. She suddenly gripped on his shirt pleading him to hide her from people who were hunting her down. He agreed and she thanked him more than the sun kissed the earth. When she tried to stand she fell to her knees. David suspected that she had been running away from the hunters so he picked her up bridal style and started off towards his house .
He opened the door and when he did he could smell a mixture of rice and curry filling the house with its tempting scent. His mom saw him with the girl Nuzzled against his chest breathing shallow breaths. His mother crept up to him with the eyes of a beast threatening"didn't I tell you, you could only have a girlfriend when you're older!!!???" David jumped in surprise as he heard his moms voice from behind him cold as ever. He then explained how he found her and why he brought her here. His mom said it was acceptable and she could stay as long as she doesn't get suspicious of the two.
David then walked into the guest room and lay the unconscious girl on the bed. He took the sheet that was impeccably folded on the bed and spread it over the girl. She then cuddled the pillow and shifted in the bed under the sheets. "Good night." He said and walked out of the room.
