Dan and Phil had gotten their pokédexs and said good bye to all there friends and family. They had started down Route 1. They were hoping to get to Viridian City soon. "Wait a second." Dan said as he stopped in his tracks. Phil stopped and looked at him.
"What?" He asked,
"We don't even know what Pokémon we got!" He said taking out his pokéball. He threw it and a Charmander popped out. "Cool!" Phil did the same and an Evee popped out. The hair on his head was spiky and stuck up every where.
"What? Why do you get the Charmander?!" Phil muttered with a huff.
"Ha ha!" Dan said poking Phil.
"Oh yeah well Evees are cooler cause they can evolve into different types of Pokémon!" Phil said with a smirk.
"So? Charmanders turn into huge dragon things!! HA!" Dan said topping Phil,
"Oh shut up." Phil huffed, then a thought accrued to him. "I wonder what genders they are...." He picked up his Evee by the tail. "Oh yeah it's a girl."
"You moron that's a boy." Dan said,
"What? No way that's a- oh... Never mind it's a boy." He said putting the growling Evee down. Phil reached for the Charmander's tail.
"I wouldn't do that Phil..." Dan warned,
"What? Why?" Phil asked at he stopped his hand an inch away from the Charmander's tail.
"Cause the tail has a flame on it. Small as it maybe it can get bigger. You grab that tail and your hand will be burnt to a crisp." Phil looked at the tail and backed off.
"Lets just assume it's a boy." Phil said standing back up.
"Agreed." Dan said back.
