"Star, I don't think-" Moon started. She was interrupted by Star placing a talon over her snout.
"Shhh, my love. We're doing good, preventing wars, aren't we?" Star whispered softly. His love nodded slowly. He was convincing her.
Gold stomped into the cave, bristling. "I want to rule!" He whined. Star snorted, hitting the RainWing with his tail.
"Maybe if you shape up and behave."
Moon looked a little cross at his choice of words, but he chose to ignore it.
"Where shall we make our palace, love?" Nightstar asked, his voice smooth. Gold scoffed.
"I... I don't know," Moon began, her tail flicking. "But I've got a trip coming up soon, and I'll be gone for a while."
He turned and looked at her, eyes wide. "Oh no! Why didn't you tell me?! That sets back the plans by at least a month!"
"Star...." Moon began, sighing, but didn't finish.
Star huffed, his green eyes shining. "Remember, you're mine." For good measure, he bit her neck hard, leaving a red bite mark as she yelped. "MINE."
Mooncrosser gave him a small glare before opening her wings and farting out of the cave. Nightstar grinned and curled up on his bed of leaves.

Talons scrabbled on the rocky surface, light and speedy. This was a quick mission.
A red dragon slipped over to the sleeping NightWing, their wings folded in close to themselves, and their sweaty talons clutching the ruby earring.
The dragon hoped no one would notice, and remember that Star hated rubies.
"Enchant this dragon to fall in love with whoever puts their talons upon him next," They whispered. The ruby seemed to shine for a moment, then faded dimly back to normal.
They snapped the earring on Star's ear and hopped away as he shifted, muttering something groggily.
This was going to be chaotic.
