"Patience woman!" Clo screamed, taking out the tray of heavenly goodness from the oven. I had been annoying her about the cookies for an hour now.
"Uhhh, this is so goooooood", I moan.
"That's what she said" , Chlo remarks with a wink.
I devour half of the tray in a matter of few minutes.
"So what are you wearing tonight?", she asks.
"Umm I don't know? How about my favourite pair of Pjs?" I deadpan.
"So you really did forget about tonight." Oh gosh no. Today Chlo's bakery had completed a year, and to celebrate that she was throwing a party at Blue Monkey, an extremely tacky nightclub.
"Umm, I'll figure something out", I say.
"No need to", she smirks. I know that smirk...."I've bought you a dress already. You're welcome." , she winks.
My best friend Cloe, proud owner to Sugar and Flour, my personal chef, was taking me to a club tonight. Also, I don't know what she had picked for me!!!! Uhhh social interaction tonight. People, sweaty drunk people.
quick a/n- from now on all my writing is gonna be in lower case, since i'm typing this on my laptop, and it's too much of a hassle. :p
i'm horrified by her choice of clothing for me. she knows me for 20 years and she really thinks i'll wear a sheer black top with a black miniskirt?! yikes! "chloeeeeee!", i yell. she enters my room with a sweet-smelling box. great, the usual. whenever chloe wanted anything from me, she'd bake me these top notch red velvet cupcakes. she knew i was an absolute sucker for sweets and damn she knew how to use that against me.
thump thump thump...the speakers vibrated, i could barely hear the music. people were doing all sorts of disgusting actions in front of me. not that I'm a prude or anything. haha just kidding.
i unlock my phone to see a few texts, my dad asking me if i was free for lunch on sunday, my landlord asking me to stop using the garden statue as a mannequin, and my brother telling me, he'll be there in 10 minutes.
chloe had invited a dozen of people, and that included my brother nick. nick and i had been friends with chloe since i was 2 and he was 4. we shared a fence back at our parents' place and had been friends since then.
