Chapter 1

I have finally been able to make my first story thanks to the support and advice I have gotten. I sincerely hope you like this story.

Your POV

I woke up to the sound of my phone ringing, still half asleep I answered it unprepared to hear the loud yell from jisoo.

"Hurry up y/n we are going to be late!"
I pulled my phone away from my ear making a hissing sound."Shh!What do you mean!? It's still early!" I yelled back at her.

"It's 8:35 already!" I then looked at the phone's time wide eyed and shot out of bed running straight to the closet forgetting to hang up.
"CLASS STARTS IN 10 MINUTES!"
I quickly put on some black ripped skinny jeans, a white shirt, and a green jacket.

I brushed my hair and put it in a pony tail then ran straight to the door to open it for jisoo then ran back up to the restroom to brush my teeth.

Who knows how but I managed to get ready and ran downstairs grabbing jisoo's hand to start running before I said with a sarcastic smile,
"You know one of these days your gonna make me lose my hearing" she shyly giggled while scratching the back of her neck.

"Anyways, we gotta go before we are late again and you know how Mr.Hyun is." I said as I made a face to her then started running.
"Come on jisoo!"
"W-WAIT!" She screamed trying to catch up to me.

// Time Skip //

We both ran into class frantically hoping we made it on time. Jimin spotted us with a look of relief "AISH you two are late again!?" Jisoo ran up to his desk almost falling over "HOW LATE ARE WE!?" Jimin then gave a smirk and said "I would say a good 20 minutes...or more" She then turned to me with a crazy glare stepping slowly toward me "Y/n~"

I tried backing up scratching the back of my neck nervously "Y-you know you can't blame me for my alarm not g-going off. I know you love me....right?"giving a nervous laugh. "Jiminie~ A little help." I tried saying nice and calm.
"Nope even I'm scared" I looked around the classroom then noticed that the teacher wasn't here either.
"OH! I guess the teacher is late to."
I said while looking at the door then back at her. I then got curious.
"Jimin how late are we really?"
He responded with a teasing voice  "About 5 minutes" he started laughing while me and jisoo started hitting him making him laugh more.

We then sat down at our desks which are side by side, me being near the window, jisoo being on my right side then jimin being in front of me.

She realized I had my head down and asked "hey did you get any sleep or somethin cause your usually full of energy." Which made jimin turn around with concern. I picked up my head looking down at the desk still.
"I kept having nightmares...well the same flashback dream really" I said in a serious tone then continued after a pause " about my mom..." They both understood what I meant looking at each other while making a O shape with there mouths then jisoo gave me a reassuring hug as I remembered that awful day.

// Flashback //

"I don't know what I did to deserve this miserable life!" She yelled as she started throwing our family photos, clothes, her bookshelves.
'She's been like this since Dad left us for some girl thinking she was way better then mom because she didn't have and I quote "responsibilities" I should check on her though'.

I walked upstairs and opened the door while calling her name. "Mom? Are you alright?" I looked behind her noticing some alcohol bottles that were all completely empty thrown there.
She realized I was there and thought for a second and said "You look like him so much" her voice trembling and eyes getting watery. She was then quiet for a moment and suddenly gave a very cold glare and said " I should get away from this place right now..." I then panicked and ran to her to hug her never wanting to let go but she pushed me hard and I fell to the floor. I looked at her trying to fight back my tears only for her to yell out
"Your nothing but a burden to everyone, you make there lives miserable just like your father!"

She then left the house not saying a word after. I stayed there on the ground, tears going down my face while looking out the door hoping she would come back. I cried myself to sleep huddled up in a little ball while it rained hard hearing the thunder strike.

The next morning I went to the restroom to wash all the tear stains I had. I dried my face then heard my phone ring from my room. I ran straight to my room and answered the phone without looking at the number.
"Hello!? Mom!?" I then waited for her to respond. " Um hello Is this the daughter of M/n by any chance?"
"Y-yes it is. Is something wrong?" I tried to calm down my hands since they were shaking. "Last night it seems that your mother got into a really bad accident, someone found her there in the car and called the ambulance but by the time she got to the hospital she died from to much blood loss. I'm very sorry for your Loss Y/n."

I dropped the phone, my eyes wide open I couldn't feel myself anymore. I stood there as if I was paralyzed my breath hitched as I finally realized what happened and started screaming out loud and went on my knees hitting the floor hard with my arms. "This is my fault! I did this to her! Me!" I kept hitting the floor hard not feeling the pain in my hands.

" I ruined her life" I said almost in a whisper. Tears rolled down my cheeks.

This is when things started to change for me...

I felt empty inside.

That whole week was complete hell.
Some days I thought I shouldn't live anymore, other days I would cry and sleep.
