The Great Divide

Intro

-Hi guys, My name is Elena and this is an ongoing story of mine that I'll try and finish when I have spare time. I don't know how this journey will go so it'll be a ride for us all. Warning my spelling isn't that great so please help me if I mess up. Thank you for being patient with me and here is The Great Divide.

I stare up at the ceiling, wondering why it was so hard to move. Struggling as hard as I could, but knowing freedom was far from my reach. I'm in another moment I cannot control, stuck and afraid. Stuck because I am bounded and can't get out, afraid because I know he won't come for me. How I got here is a bit hazy, but the moments leading up to this can be told. Let's just say he was a boy and I was a foolish girl. So foolish to believe we could be together, knowing that we were two different people living in two different worlds never once crossing, and knowing we never could.  But as it seemed fate had other thoughts about us, because even though it never should have happened, it did, and because of it, I'm here alone, in the dark.
